i liked the question whether the zips had a better chance for a run vs the cavs winning a title...while i agree the pub was nice, the interviewer, and i use that term loosely, stunk...couldn't even get his name right as he called him dambro...'silent t' i guess....you dont know? Apparently the Gonzaga forums (if you can call them that) are so crappy that they are all on ours now? Seriously, i could care less about this pleasantry garbage. Let's "upset" these guys and move on. Maybe it wont happen, odds say it wont, but either way we are going places with our program and our university and some 4500 student school in liberal washington state will always be just that. So let's stop trying to be "The Gonzaga of the East" and just be the Akron of the East because as far as im concerned Gonzaga is the "Can't State of the west" on Thursday night.GO ZIPS!

That's not only a reflection on OU's budget problems but their administration's disinterest in athletics. As far as athletic funding goes, Akron and OU and heading in two very different directions.I would say that their current president is the worst thing that has ever happened to their school (im sure many OU students/alumni would agree).I would also say that our current president is one of the best things that has ever happened to our school. So two different directions yes, but dont think that Richard Suk and John Groce are going to just sit back and let that happen again next year. Their band is one of their only winning programs in terms of athletics and Groce spent too many years at places like Butler and Ohio State to allow his program to be put on the back burner. They have good attendence at basketball games for being in the middle of no where, a pretty darn nice arena, and a beautiful campus to draw recruits with. There is no reason that what happened should have happened other than the fact that people in that administration just mishandled funds and/or have no care for athletics. And I'm sure the Alumni they angered this year will change that real fast.

i have a free flight but i can only fly into seattle. It's a bit of a drive after that, as a college student it's just a little too much money to go. I am willing to take sponsors if any companies want to dress me up in their logo. Hell ill look like a NASCAR car if that's what it took.

Until you've been in their position,don't complain.. i see my share of HS & college games every year. I have seen good refs, poor refs and so-so refs. But I will not criticize them, because officiating bb today is much more difficult that it has ever been. If you think it is that easy, go get a whistle and let me know how easy it is.BTW, I am not an official, I have just been around sports all my life and know many offiials in all sports.i have officiated basketball YES! So i know it's not that hard, it's called being focused and doing your job. I dont make 2500 a game or whatever they make and i do a more respectful job than they do!WHO CARES THOUGH WE ARE DANCING

anyone notice the empty seats in Buffalo a few weeks ago for that big game we played against them? Those are their rabid fans right there. The ones that were actually at that game might be the only ones who are here today. The Zips are going to roll to an easy victory tonight and there will be NO sound from that part of the Q.
