good to hear that you will be able to make it, but i think the Swiech dunk made the whole JAR shake because everyone was laughing at him pounding his chest after a dunk that made the score 65-31 or something along those lines.Don't get me wrong i like to see a player show some emotion, but that really made me laugh.

IF this is true, I don't condone a coach doing it. What I would condone is one of the Akron players stepping up and getting in Mr. Coleman's face and letting him know that when he comes to Akron, the dunk will be remembered. A little pushing and shoving after a heated game is not unheard of and should be expected on some level. The players should be the ones to initiate the pushing and shoving. Let's hope that in the future, one of the players will have the balls to do this instead of the coach having to do it for them.I think that is an important point, McFadden shouldn't have had to do it for them. When he played things like that would not stand and he wouldn't have been the only one who would have said or did something about it.Either way, i could care less if an assistant coach gets in the face or says anything to a player. This may be amateur basketball but these "kids" are all adults, and they can handle being called out by someone.

well welcome to Zipsnation sgt_zip but i have to disagree. We have plenty of talent just not enough heart yet. I think the shock of playing in front of their first real home crowd will set alot of these young guys off. If they can just jump ahead early and hit some big shots (dunks, 3 pointers), this game could turn real ugly for Cant.

What a great game! Exciting too. Also, it was nice to see Veal play with some heart and make some big baskets. Overall just a good team effort, grabbing big boards and hitting plenty of big jumpers.

well with only 7 games at home at least Zeke will be prepared for some hostile environments next year and get a bit of a reward when he gets to play in the friendly confines of James A Rhodes arena.

I dont think it really matters, he was a bit overrated as it was. If he came back it would just show this more and his stock would go down. Better to get out while he still has some shimmer left from that great start.

I am really disappointed in the the student attendance. The University has what 20-25 thousand students and they couldn't fill the lower two ends of the student section. When I attended the U (back in the prehistoric days) we had 5,000 students and had at least twice as many students at the games, every game. It truly is embarrassing. I was one of the few down there screaming and being loud but the lack of student attendance in my opinion is attributed to one thing: marketing.It is SHOCKING how little people know about the details of home games. I talk to people in my classes and friends on campus who don't even know we have a game. I usually come with about 5 or 6 other friends to the game and at least 3 of them have to be reminded that there is a game on game day because they hadn't heard anything on campus about it. There is one little sign on Brown St and that is about it. Even more shocking is the fact that I had a friend come last night for his first game finally after 2 semesters of trying to get him to come and when we got there he started pulling out cash as if to buy a ticket! He didn't even know we got in free!Why dont we have giveaways?! Why dont we have more signage on campus on gamedays?! It's simple stuff.
