well let me make it clear that i never stated that Keith Dambrot was a bad recruiter or that he was bad for this program. However, he is a horrible game coach, he doesn't seem to understand game situations in college basketball or even how to utilize his roster. He seems lost at times. I have been following Zips basketball for my entire life, and have been going to games since i was 1, I have a very good understanding of how bad some coaches have been and i assure you I am not on any sort of Hipsher band wagon.

Here's the problem I had with your topic, aside from it being completely stupid, is the fact that there are only a half dozen posts on here today, and you make that to add to the list. In other words, why couldn't you inject your silly opinion in the game thread where everyone else put their opinions?If you make a new thread, and the 100 other people on this forum who have a more sensible opinion refute you in it, what still ends up happening is your silly thread title is there among the 5 other threads of the day, giving your silly opinion disproportionate representation, as if 1/6 of the people actually think like you.So wait, you are a moderator? I don't see any other threads with any title close to that one, so therefore like in any forum on the internet it would make sense to leave it up. I also think that probably about 1/6 of the people DO think the same, well at least anyone with any basketball knowledge.....I think the real problem here is that you have got a thing for Keith Dambrot.

went to the game, my girlfriend and i were the ONLY non family members that came into town....absolutely great. Met 3 separate guys who lived in Tallahassee who went to the game and graduated from Akron. Also got to sit in a suite for the first half (family down here has one)...then sat with all the Akron folks for the second half. Needless to say, it was a phenomenal night. Loved how the Akron section was drowning out their students for much of the game. Also i was real glad to be able to represent the Rowdies down here, i think the fans surrounding me learned what we are all about. Just wish the rest of you guys could have been down here going crazy with Jen and I. Where did all of you guys watch the game btw? Winking Lizard? Cleats?ok yeah im rambling, im just pumped for saturday

I'm in town already, my family who lives down here are all going (some are Florida Gators fans so they will DEFINITELY be rooting for the Zips) BUT...who else is going? I'm just trying to get a general head count on the nation.

COME ON! it's college basketball, it's not CYO 5th grade basketball. There is supposed to be belligerent drunk students being loud and obnoxious!The only thing that really shows why can't state is trash is their disrespect for America. They boo'd during the swearing in of those servicemen and they yelled during our national anthem.THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE...it is shocking that i see barely any uproar over this. This wasn't just some of them, this was a large contingent, these people were classless in all ways. BUT you can't be upset about simple "flipping off" or our fans and booing and chanting. It's part of college basketball, get over it.

HEY NOW ...florida and florida state are VERY different!my family lives in Tallahasee and im already heading down there tomorrow at 8am...flying into tampa where other family is then driving up to the capital. My point is, as a life long 'noles and zips fan, calling FSU "Florida" is like calling Akron the "Akron Golden flushes"
