  1. Anything can happen any night but i agree the playing field is a bit more level. I think the top 25 polls are ridiculously unfair in that certain teams get preferential treatment in getting to stay at the top year in and year out even though they don't deserve it.
  2. man i really disagree with him here. I think the Zips can win this game. I'm not saying if i were him i would necessarily pick them to win, but I would at least predict a close contest.
  3. I think the Bobcats are a better team than their record may indicate. From watching two of their games, I have to think that they will be a tough opponent for us.
  4. got some good pictures of people on the slip and slide 2 weeks ago btw...BSU pictures
  5. man i somehow made it this far into the day without thinking about the stadium....THANKS ALOT...now i'm not going to get any work done for the final 2 hours of the day because i've got the Info on my mind!
  6. that's the plan
  7. They wont care about it being up, i've done it before and I think i will be there the night before as well. So you may not be the only group there.
  8. i dont know if this has been mentioned but did anyone hear the one announcer call the info "the 8th wonder of the world"? Also they both raved about it for about a minute.
  9. This is absolute rubbish. But who cares honestly, we all know that with the talent we have THIS YEAR we can win. We have a pretty darn talented team that is only going to get better. Once we are the power that we are going to become, we will shove it right back in these idiots faces.
  10. I thought this was a good question. I don't know how it compares to other football stadiums, but this afternoon I walked by Canal Park and counted the rows there. There were 20 rows in Canal Park as well. So either there is a standard they are following, or they wanted to give the lower bowl the same dimensions as Canal Park. Good decision IMO. Canal Park's dimensions are great.offtopic kind of, but would anyone else like to see some more games played at canal park for the baseball team? I mean we have this beautiful facility in town and they already do one charity game there, why cant they schedule a few "big" games there?
  11. And i thought i was the only person thinking we are too conservative on offense. Let's light it up down the sideline sometimes.
  12. So is anyone who beats Akron a jerk? You said the BSU fans came to sit in a UofA section and were crude... Turns out the vast majority of BSU fans sat together... behind their own team. Now a guy who very well may never play football again is a mouthy jerk?DUH anyone who beats akron is a jerk...or another word that is far more foul. And btw that guy who may never play football was a jerk before he got hurt not because of it.Oh yeah, and I was a huge jerk to the BSU fans as i walked by each time so there we are even.
  13. what is up with Igor?!
  14. i do wonder though how long it was up like that.
  15. ill be there ready to watch a rout....im a bit fired up already from that Tribe game tonight....if you didnt see it, i would check out the highlights.
  16. i wish there was a bus or something....gas prices are just too high blah it'll cost me 150 bucks roundtrip to drive that far.
  17. unbelievable...
  18. I agree, but those in the south and west would likely think that the College World Series is more visible and popular than the College Cup.To lose on the road to a quality opponent like UNM is nothing to be ashamed of especially in a hard fought, evenly played game. I can't think of a season where the National Champion has gone undefeated, so as long as the loss can be used constructively, there is no harm done with respect to the big picture. Missouri State and several upcoming opponents should be W's, so that will help the team rebound in the polls.those in the south and west? I'd say that people most anywhere in the United States would place college soccer back behind football, mens basketball, womens basketball and baseball...but it's good to see it gaining popularity.
  19. i agree, just show up...someone will have an extra ticket for u for free.
  20. 38-28-Ball State. We have no d-linelet's not forget that it is raining like the second coming of the great flood, lots of total yards wont necessarily mean lots of points. I'm seeing fumbles and drive halting tackles for losses on people slipping. Our D-Line is ready to step up, they can't play much worse, so have some confidence.
  21. DK and Alex Allen light it up for 125 yards + a piece and Zips take it 24-17
  22. i will be there by 730am...look for the silver flag pole and the giant white tent. I'm looking to start a big group there for some drinking games and cornhole so feel free to pull up and park around us, we should have a big group going.
  23. It was a pretty nice day, k-ent fans were probably playing frisbee.and this nice night probably would justify some flag burning on the Can't campus
  24. Peter King just got some hate mail in his mailbag im sure.
  25. the big question: CAN WE STOP THE RUN?!I know week 1 was against a very good running team but Syracuse, are they that good running the ball?
