Could be why i haven't heard back from the guy after two days. I was just up there in December so that's terrible news if it's true. I'll be in Cleveland in a few days so I'll swing by and see for sure.

Working on getting something set up with Cleats. For the last three years they've welcomed my crew and put up some Zips stuff for the week. Last year they had 1.50 pints of domestics, 39 cent wings, and a few other things...so hopefully we can get it going again this year. We like to tailgate in the adjacent parking lot (the owner of the lot lets us grill and drink) and eventually make our way to Cleats. I'll post some more info later.

The amount of excuses being made for this team is insane. Fan forums are for second-guessing the coaches/team, and this team has certainly earned criticism for several things this season. Everyone needs to stop defending Dambrot like he's Jesus Christ or something...chill out, if you're his daughter or wife, you probably shouldn't be on Zipsnation.org. KD's a great coach, but he's certainly not above being questioned. That being said, ORU was as much about missing shots as anything.

I'm sick of losing these games because of stupid stupid play. Our coaching decisions are downright moronic at times as well. The first question in the post-game press conference should be "Coach Dambrot, why the hell do you not tell your team to pass to the 7 foot guy who has a mismatch with everyone on the floor?"

Should have been a delay of game on ORU for not getting the ball. The ref just let it slide and yelled at Diggs for getting the ball...wow, 5-7 seconds lost for nothing.

It's not rocket science, give the ball to the biggest dude on the floor (ZEKE).

I have yet to see much defense...Zeke and Nik have been good but the rest of the team is miserable.

Harney is either TERRIBLE at D or just doesn't try...eh, maybe a little of both.

I hope that's the last time we EVER see Nick Harney shooting a ball from longer than 12 feet away. Talk about ugly.

We keep this up, no second half will save us.

It's laughable how bad we are at boxing out. Thank God we have the hops to make up for it most of the time.

I hope Zeke gets calls like that some more. Though it's shocking to me that we still haven't taught him to not jump for every head fake. My God, when you're 7 foot tall you don't need to jump every time someone thinks about shooting.

Elon is fairly legit in the world of college baseball. They have been to the regional round of the CWS for three of the last four years and were 36-21 last year. We are going to struggle early on against team's like Elon, App State, and USC; but our schedule is weaker than the last few years. We should be sitting decent by the time we get to our home opener.

Just awful. The yellow and black is bad enough but they found a way to make it look even worse.

I ran into him with my dad in the dark concourse of Cleveland Stadium during the last Indians series there in '93. Got his autograph on the game program that I still have to this day...great memory. It's too bad that it took so long for him to do an Anthem at the Jake (opening day 2001?). Anyway, is he still alive even? He must be over 90 by now.
