Yedlin was one of the few Zips that looked good tonight, other than that they looked very timid and somewhat sloppy. Obviously the weather was to blame for the sloppiness but there's no excuse to keep dribbling around all of creation without taking a few more shots. Porter was screaming at his players late in the game and wasn't happy afterward as he talked (and was very animated/angry) with them at midfield for 15 min following the match. Really, there was no reason the final score shouldn't have been at least 5-0.

I don't think it's even debatable...yes this is the best the MAC has ever been.

What a finish! Anyone who has not been out to a game is truly missing out. That was one of the most exciting endings for a Zips game all year. WOW

Yes they did, have you seen their subscriber numbers? They are dying. If they didn't start changing things soon, they would have been in big trouble. No one wants to read Buckeyes and Cleveland pro sports articles from a second-hand source. Also, they are a little late on covering the Zips and while the coverage is nice, it's hard to forget the slants of years past after just a few months of decent coverage.

While the chances are obviously absurdly low that he would leave...I don't think we would sink into anything close to what Ianello put the football team into. Also, I'm not sure I'd even worry that much. Sometimes I think we are too content with being just a notch above mediocrity. Seeing a guy like Bowden talk of bigger things makes me dream of having a basketball coach that wants to do the same.

I can't help but think that sitting out a year and working with Big 10 coaches and a Big 10 strength & conditioning coach would be huge for helping his pro chances. Also, he would have plenty of time to finish his degree.
