Thanks to everyone that came out tonight. It was a highly entertaining game with the Zips winning 6-2 and the Rowdies/fans really getting in the Bearcats' heads. Their goalie got destroyed. But great turnout for the tailgate, we had probably 75+ people at one point! Everyone that missed: tomorrow the team plays at roughly the same time as the basketball team but next friday vs Toledo (6:25pm) you should come out and support the team. There will be a keg (free beer) and free food again and it should be a great time.

Just a heads up to everyone at ZN.o: ASN will be hosting a tailgate prior to the game friday night. We will have a keg (just a few bucks to drink) and we will have some free food. You are more than welcome to grill your own as well. But the event starts at 6 pm and goes until the puck drops at 9 so hopefully i'll see a bunch of you guys there, just like the soccer tailgates. Yes it was, but in 2010 I stepped down from the team after two seasons as head coach. To be honest, I'm not exactly sure what happened to the team, as they do not exist as an Akron Club sport anymore. I know there was a falling out between some of the remaining members but I don't know what exactly happened.
