I am starting a Zip fan video channel on there and im going to favorite all other fan videos (and download and back them up) and upload other ones i can get my hands on so we can preserve the Zips stuff on youtube. I have always thought that if the athletics department would upload highlights (like that crazy conyers dunk earlier this season) they could get some good publicity/new fans. And all just by using a free website like youtube.Anyone have any good ideas for the channel's name? I wonder if AK-Rowdies can bet on this? that would be awesome...get 2 of the officers behind there...priceless... Sadly, i just paid 10 bucks for this service on Feb 10 to watch the CMU/Zips game. Obviously the feed was great as it was an away game but honestly i only paid for it to watch that one game (and maybe another away game if they have it). But I'm going to cancel my subscription before March 10 no doubt about that. The lack of archived games or any real updates other than a few boring press conferences make me wonder if anyone even works in our athletic department? I literally could run the whole web thing myself and do a better job.

Yes we got lucky they traveled, but we deserved to win that game we led for most of it...just had some poor play calling and shot choices at the endTo say nothing of that insane call by the refs that blew the whistle for no reason, that was game over at that point if that didn't happen.I love how the ref that was 40 feet away made the call but that slick back dark haired ref couldn't make the call when it was right in front of him.That guy is a joke. The North side rowdies were booing him and he went to the police officer during a timeout in the first half and told her that he would have a few of us thrown out if we continued. I know this because an usher came over and spoke with me about it. I actually spoke with that officer following the game and she said that he actually wanted the entire section cleared if they couldnt calm us down. Now THAT is getting in a refs head.

The "dude" is a freshman and previously had something like a 29 point game. Next year he will be a terror, and after that who knows...He definately has the moves.Steve French was comparing him to Len Paul. I saw almost every game Len Paul played (he was 6'3" BTW, not the 6'5" they were saying, he just played big) and this guy looks better. I dont know, the parties are usually pretty damn good. Though you're right, it can be dangerous. Just last friday there was a near riot on gage street. It was wild, some guy was being harassed by some girls on someones porch as he was riding his bike up and down the snowy street. He said something to them and one of their guy friends came out and tackled the guy. It then turned into a huge brawl with multiple houses of people coming out and joining in. I saw a guy on crutches bite the dust trying to join in, one guy who literally tried to take on an entire house worth of people (and succeed), and girls throwing snowballs at the guys the entire time....all while some crazy kid was throwing that guys bike at a tree repeatedly for about a minute and a half before anyone even noticed.It was some good entertainment, and it went on for about 45 minutes.

I agree...but hopefully they are peaking at the wrong time and we peak when we need to like last year.However, I think that Akron is still a better team...keyword "team". If we can do what we've done the last few weeks playing TERRIBLE basketball and still get out of it with as many wins as we did then i think we are going to be alright. Let's just hope Dambrot figures out his rotations.
