  1. The Zips head off to Kalamazoo Tuesday to face the Broncos and the MAC's leading scorer, Duquesne transfer Lamar Norman Jr. Heading into tonight's game against CMU, the Broncos stand at 4-20 and are 0-13 in the MAC. The Broncos gave the Zips a run for their money at the JAR on January 18th, falling 74-73. In that game, Ali Ali scored 18 points and scored with 5.4-seconds left to complete an incredible 11-0 Zips run in the last couple of minutes. Norman and guard B. Artis White led the Broncos in the game totaling 42 points.
  2. And you're never going to win playing bad perimeter defense.
  3. It's the middle of February and this team has not developed a true go to guy or any killer instinct.
  4. It certainly was a balance to what sounded to be a "f*** Kent State" chant in the first half.
  5. As an aside, I wonder who the genius was that thought putting decals on the end glass railings was in order. It's bad enough for fans to have to watch a game through that stupid structure, now they can't even see through it.
  6. ...and flipped off the Zips fans in the north stands on the way out.
  7. Most frustrating game of the entire season.
  8. Jesus, could they just once get a damn important stop???
  9. Insincere is the enemy and his on court cockiness makes him tough to like as an opponent, but the kid is a real baller.
  10. Jacobs, at 6'3" again leads them in rebounds. He also leads in steals and assists.
  11. The teams are both now shooting 46.2%. Finally evened out and so did the score.
  12. They need to get more physical with Insincere.
  13. So they've gone from calling nothing to calling soft BS.
  14. PCCC guy drug his pivot foot a foot and a half and no call! X nearly airballed an open layup,
  15. Insincere graduated in 2018 from Solon, Clarke from Cleveland Heights in 2020. I suspect they saw each other in AAU.
  16. Every time to Zips tighten it up they make a clutch shot.
  17. Zips perimeter D is again sketchy. PCCC shooting 58% on 3s.
  18. Freeman not putting the ball on the floor as much this half and it is cutting down on the double team.
  19. Lucky to still be in this one the way the offense is executing.
  20. ...and that's why we shouldn't get excited with wins over directionals.
  21. PCCC doubling the post when the ball gets put on the floor. Zips need to adjust.
  22. Trimble lets Hernandez run right past him on a cut to the basket. 10 points in 10 minutes for the Zips. Sigh.
