One thing I like about the small MAC crowds is that you can hear specific things the fans yell.

He shot 70% and 67% in his 1st and 2nd years then jumped to 88% last year. He seemed very good early this year but has obviously dropped off. Hopefully it is a brief slump and he's not reverting to has old ways.

They just need to do a batter job of getting over, through and around those perimeter screens. Their inability to do that against PCCC killed them.

WMU won its first MAC game of the season on Saturday against CMU. They scored the first seven points of the game and won 77-63. Lamar Norman scored a game-high 25 points extending his double-digit scoring streak to 22 games in a row.

Yep, he was one of the last minute recruits to help keep things afloat. I will always have find memories of walk-on Lucas Smith who at about 6'5" had to all too often play in the post for that team. I believe that was also the year Olajapoke had his health issues forcing them both into extra duty.

Despite some enthusiasm on here, Mark Kostelac was never going to be a D1 player. Heck, he wasn't even all-conference in high school as a 7-footer. He moved onto Walsh and was relatively ineffective there for a year.

In last month's game, the Zips really beat up WMU in the paint and on second chance points. Aziz and Enrique combined for 10 offensive rebounds. Hastings, a 6'7" forward is their best rebounder at 8.8 rpg. Hopefully we can keep him off of the board and pound them again inside.
