  1. Lucky to still be in this one the way the offense is executing.
  2. Defense keeping the Zips in this one.
  3. ...and that's why we shouldn't get excited with wins over directionals.
  4. PCCC doubling the post when the ball gets put on the floor. Zips need to adjust.
  5. Trimble lets Hernandez run right past him on a cut to the basket. 10 points in 10 minutes for the Zips. Sigh.
  6. The Portage County crowd sneaks theirs in.
  7. they definitely look hungrier and more physical.
  8. PCCC has gotten away with pushing off with the off arm on a couple of drives so far.
  9. Groce needs a TO. Another crappy start with sloppy play.
  10. Crowd looks good other than the empty blue seats.
  11. When your "elite" shooter isn't in the conference's top 25 in 3 point shooting percentage there's an issue. By the way, Ali and Castaneda are 8th and 7th.
  12. Cheater. LOL.
  13. 1) Under/over 129.5 points- Over 2) Freeman number of rebounds: 9 3) Zips top scorer: Castaneda 4) Mr. Pinky gets a technical: yes or no- No
  14. To keep us rolling, here's a "Four for Friday" for you guys to play- 1) Under/over 129.5 points 2) Freeman number of rebounds: 3) Zips top scorer: 4) Mr. Pinky gets a technical: yes or no
  15. Freeman needs to stay out of foul trouble. The refs have been calling some pretty ticky tac fouls on him lately.
  16. And he defended the post as hard or harder than any Zip!
  17. His post play was pretty suspect. 😁
  18. Enrique is not the defensive presence Zeke was. I'm not sure that any MAC player has ever been. He's not the offensive presence that Big Dog was. His rebounding stands up against either of those two and his overall contribution is equal to or very close to those two. He certainly belongs in the discussion. As for guys like Tree and Romeo, I look at them as more power forwards than classic post big men.
  19. Malique Jacobs is an important part of PCCC's success as he does a little but of everything for them. As a 6'3" guard he leads the team in rebounds at an impressive 7.3 rpg. He's also second on the team in points, assists and blocks and is a very good defender.
  20. I believe those are the total records of the teams remaining on each team's schedules.
  21. At least Father Berardi could kick those out in 20 minutes. The poor bastards at PCCC get the full 2 hour Latin Mass.
  22. ...who is another player that fled Duquesne.
  23. I got exactly one response to my trivia question/offer for free tickets and it took two days for someone to claim the tickets in Hilltopper's thread. Not a good sign.
  24. That place is so simple yet so effective as an arena. Canton is fortunate to have it and the Fieldhouse. Both places I love to watch hoops. Oh and "Ohhhhh yeahhhhhhhh!!!"
  25. This is the same newspaper that printed a bold-faced headline on page A-2 last week that referenced a Russian Pkot to invade Ukraine. A big old headline, since deleted in its archive e-edition.
