    The 11 sacks given up by the Zips Saturday were the most by any FBS team since 2019 when the Zips gave up 12 in a game. Sigh.

    Are you ready for some (Tuesday night) football? The Cardinals come to Akron on Tuesday November 2nd to face the Zips. The Cardinals come in at 4-4. The Zips are, ya know, looking forward to the challenge.

    Damn, the Zips lines are awful. Gibson and Kato will both see significant time before the end of the season as no one can take the poundings given weekly to the Zips QBs.

    DJ irons is a fine athlete but he has no feeling for a collapsing pocket (and with this team there are a lot of collapsing pockets!). That's an unhealthy combination.

    Buffalo comes into Infocision this weekend in the last game before the start of Tuesday night football (collective groan). Our Canadian friends are 3-4 and coming off of a 27-26 win over OU. Stow alum Kyle VanTrease remains the UB QB. This is his third year as the starter having started the final eight games of the 2019 season.

    I think he's probably a good guy and a good coach but I said it in jest as I think his name has come up in every search since Faust left. I don't have an interest in a 63 year old coach.

    I feel compelled to say Paul Winters since the name has come up every time the Zips were looking for head coach in the last two decades.

    The D line was supposed to be smaller and faster. It appears small and manhandled. This defense cannot make a stop on 3rd down.
