  1. 23.5 minutes per game, 10.2 ppg, 49.8 field goal percentage, 32.8 3 point percentage, 8.8 rebounds per game, ,1 assist per game, 1.4 steals per game, 0.2 blocks per game. From the tape I watched, seems to be more of an interior player with most of his shots in close or dunks on breaks. His shot isn't awful, but he seems to prefer to drive to the basket.
  2. It is much closer to his hometown Southfield.
  3. Wow, talk about a lateral move. He must love playing zone. I thought height, not skill or scoring ability, was EMU's recruiting focus.
  4. Players on teams from the following conferences are eligible for the Henson award: America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Colonial, Horizon, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit, Sun Belt, West Coast. Here's an article about the Lou Henson team and the honorees- http://www.louhenson.com/
  5. Another award for LCJ. Here's the article- https://gozips.com/news/2020/3/25/mens-basketball-jackson-named-to-lou-henson-all-america-team.aspx?camefrom=EMCL_3266058_156442140
  6. There's trembling trouble with Tribble and Trimble.
  7. Tough to tell until both sides of the transfer portal, transferrors and transferrees, flush out. Also, some high school seniors may not qualify. Just so much time before the season is here from thing to go to heck (think Eric Hester). At this point, I don't see PCCC making much of a run as they lose quite a lot with Pippen as the only returning starter. I like OU as Preston and Vander Plas are solid and Boles will continue to bring in talent and grow the program. BG came apart at the end of the season and lose Turner and Frye. Miami never seems to make much progress despite the fact that all of the kids should now be all Owens recruits. Bufflao is as solid as anyone for now. Just lots and lots of uncertainty. If you put a gun to my head, I'd put Buffalo and Akron at the top. I really like Dailey and Curry and think the Zips will be solid as long as Groce can maintain the "Team-ism."
  8. Ouch. Top two scorers, top rebounder. Nearly a third of their team scoring and rebounding right down the Kalamazoo crapper! Johnson's certainly welcome here. He's a grad transfer.
  9. Wow, what an awkward looking photo. Looks like he was being held at gunpoint and told to smile big or they'd shoot him.
  10. Sweet 16! Sigh. https://www.si.com/college/2020/03/25/march-madness-ncaa-tournament-predictions-kansas
  11. Not to sound cold, but I'll happily allow Sayles to go into the portal in return for getting Al-Amin, Roberts and Turner in.
  12. That "2019" is the total players in the history of the program rather than a year reference!
  13. Exactly. If he is really using it just as a measuring stick as the and his team suggest, I guess it's a good use of the system. However, if he thinks he's anywhere close to NBA ready, he's delusional.
  14. Love these updates from the players. Genius idea. It really contributes to fan attachment.
  15. Quite a rebound from this proud moment- https://www.si.com/college/2015/04/02/chris-jans-bowling-green-state-fired
  16. It's a FORUM. A forum is a place to exchange thoughts and ideas, not a one sided discussion. Say the same damn thing over and over and over and it gets on my nerves, but not seeing a lot of wins this year is not a problem. Teams don't instantly go from zero wins to a winning record. This is a season to see progress on the field or start second (or third) guessing the Arth hiring. 4 four wins would be a huge success. 2 or 3 is a more likely outcome.
  17. Another opportunity for a big program to poach a MAC player. Looks like there's a lot of dysfunction in Bowling Green. I believe he'll go as a graduate transfer, so he won't have to sit a year.
  18. There's a real advantage to being a private school and focusing on one sport.
  19. Welcome back to NEO JoJo.
  20. He sat out one year due to the transfer and a year due to a knee injury. No thanks to a kid going on to his 3rd school in 4 years. I'm okay with a transfer for a kid who didn't work out somewhere or a JUCO kid who wasn't ready for college, but at this point it starts looking like a pattern of discontent.
  21. I would have hoped that they'd come up with a better tape than one against that appears to be a 7th grade CYO team. To the kid's credit, he averaged 26.2 points and 10.3 rebounds as a senior. He averaged 15.9 points and 6.9 rebounds as a freshman, 22.8 points and 6.9 rebounds as a sophomore and 27.5 points and 11.6 rebounds as a junior.
  22. Good luck to the kid. I hope he gets the opportunity to some day participate in the CBI tournament.
  23. Exactly, like playing West Virginia with the added in state rivalry component. I liked it when OSU football would play an early warmup against an in state opponent. Hopefully, the Zips established a nice relationship with Xavier and can schedule them at some point. Taking it to them in a scrimmage probably didn't help!
  24. Nice job with the numbers. I think it will be tough for them to repeat a 24 win season, however, I think another year on Reece, Tribble, Dawson and Ali goes a long way and that Trimble, Curry and Dailey will go a long way to replacing Banks, X and Cheese. Not 24 wins, but no reason that if healthy they can't win 20 to 22.
  25. I thought Jayden hit his head on that fall and I was really scared for the kid. Spoke to him at the Ice Cream Social this year and he was excited to finally be injury free. I wish the kid well. I don't think that lack of effort was ever an issue for him, I just think the staff saw the other bigs as more valuable. I hope he finds success wherever he ends up.
