In the midst of the COVID mess, I have looked at the college basketball season as something positive on the horizon to look to after the crisis passes. Here's hoping. We may be looking at a shortened and/or delayed season and the possibility of conference only play (weren't we just saying that about football?) The problem isn't so much about their risk, it's the vulnerable who could be exposed to them. That being said, per the article I previously posted it appears that some of these "healthy" kids could be coming down with myocarditis as a result of the virus. Certainly no easy answers. Interesting choice given that old Ray was involved in the murder of a man from Akron. He certainly does know crime.

i just hope to hell that at a time the University and Athletics are facing millions of dollars in cuts that they're not sending the equipment truck of the 0-11 football team to North Carolina for new graphics. That would not only be financially irresponsible, but would be "putting lipstick on a pig." Let's hope it is there for warranty work.

Title IX is one of the prices paid for receiving federal funding, not an NCAA requirement. I don't think many schools want to forego that funding. I'm with you for a separation and a new look at things.
