Getting a little tired of guys passing up open 3 to 5 footers to kick it out for a three, a bad lob or a sloppy baseline pass.
Extra salt in the wound- PCCC is winning.
-
50. Point. Half. UGH.
-
Zips getting beat in EVERY positive aspect of the game.
-
This OU team is head's above the earlier season version. Kudos to Boals.
-
They need to put Banks on Preston.
-
First team to stick with the plan of attacking LCJ when he is on defense.
-
I like that Tribble made a three, but overall his shot is brutal.
-
Nice crowd.
-
Right to Preston posting up LCJ.
-
How many teams use their point guard for the tip-off????
-
Williamson and Roberts out for PCCC tonight so we'll probably get no help from Brimfield.

Can someone confirm (need to set my work schedule):
As #2 or #1 seed, we first play on Thursday, then continue to Fri and Sat if we keep winning?
Here's the schedule-

Contain Preston and Vander Plas, keep Dartis from getting hot and head into the PCCC game on a two game win streak. I've been impressed by Vander Plas development this year.
Should be a good crowd. They're honoring the Dean's List athletes at half so that will keep a decent student crowd there through half.

Well it was only a natural response when he revealed he was pregnant...
Anybody know if it was a boy or a girl? Need to give the men's or women's program a heads up regarding the recruiting class of 2038.
He also sent back my shower gift.

Is there any definitive news that the MAC accepted the one game suspension and that is the end of the matter?
The article I read and posted indicated that UA imposed the one game suspension and the MAC stated they felt no need to address the matter as UA had adequately handled it.

Thanks. Pretty rare that a guy bails under those circumstances, inter-conference no less.

@clarkwgriswold usually gets them for free at the Verizon in Macedonia.
Here's hoping!
Sometimes there's an Ohio Lottery deal too.

Aaaaaaah, remember Bubba Walther? Left UA for OU and played on worse teams than he would have played on at UA. As I recall, he saw Nick Dials coming and bailed rather than man up and compete. Nice attitude and welcome to transfer out
Interesting article here-

If you read Kitten Attack, they think we at ZipsNation are crazy and bipolar. I took a blow to the head from the T-Shirt cannon. I don't know what the excuse is for the rest of you.
We're NEO sports fans. What else would anyone expect?

This has trap game written all over it. Sandwiched between a big road win and our season finale against our main rival. Ohio has been playing some good basketball of late. Not a team that we want to take lightly.
I've been worried about this game. I was worried about Buffalo and OU after the BG. Apparently, by Buffalo concerns were unwarranted, so who knows about this one!
From what I've seen this season of the kittens, Boals has brought them a long way.
-
Damn BUGS...damn MAC...I'm so bewildered.
Funny, the Zips play one of their best games after one of their worst while BUGS plays one of their worst after playing one of their best.
-
LCJ Is ahead by three lengths coming down the stretch.
-
I think LCJ started his closing argument in favor if him being MAC POY today.
X only went 1/5 from 3 today, but his shot looked better. The 13 boards were key.

The Zips welcome old friend Jeff Boals and his 15-14 squad into the JAR Tuesday nght. The kittens are fresh off of solid home wins against Canada and Brimfield A & T after losing to BG by a point. Boals and his staff appear to be making progress in Athens. 6'4 sophomore guard Jason Preston leads the team at 16.3 ppg. 6'8' sophomore forward Ben Vander Plas scores 15.5 ppg while leading the team at 6.8 rpg. SVSM grad freshmen guard Lunden McDay continues a fine freshman season for the Kittens. They are 7th in the MAC on offense and 5th in defense. The Zips squeaked by the kittens 88-86 at Athens on January 25th behind 35 from LCJ.

Game 30- Ohio University
in Akron Zips Basketball

They are shooting well but the Zips' D is awful. Bad switches, soft traps, bad rotations...
