  1. While beating two Big 10 and one Big 12 team!

  3. The judge in the case filed last week has issued a TRO prohibiting the NCAA from holding up the second transfers. It's in effect for two weeks, so not full relief yet.
  4. I don't have a huge problem with them sitting a year but at the same time a coach can move and coach immediately. At a base level, that seems unfair.
  5. Good call. They've just set up a system that has too much subjectivity. Move and sit a year or allow immediate transfer and take out the waiver/appeal process and debate.
  6. Article on the case filed by the attorneys general and the transfer waiver process - https://sports.yahoo.com/lawsuit-aims-to-eliminate-all-ncaa-transfer-restrictions-while-some-are-pushing-for-a-stricter-policy-211746802.html
  7. Looking to next year, conceivably they return Scott, Prather, Baker, Lyles, Tavari, Kamali and Nate. That's an okay core to which they'll add Briscoe, Mahaffey and Young. Next year a dropoff is likely but I don't think it will be a rebuild type of year. At the same time, this year is a great chance for them to take the MAC and go to the tournament but I can't conclude it has to be "the year."
  8. Looks like a talented kid. A little small but strong with good balance and hands.
  9. You're just so cultured!
  10. I understand Muskingum, Heidelberg, and Miami-Hamilton are not D1 teams. My only point is that the trend appears to be to schedule lower quality opponents around exam week.
  11. They have one or two of these every year. Muskinghum and Jackson State last year. Florida A & M the year before. Southern and Concord the year before. They seem to be scheduled around the end of the fall semester, so I suspect it has something to do with getting them on the floor without interfering with exams.
  12. That's correct. I'm already into Tuesday/Saturday mode!
  13. "The stufferino is the difference in this one!"
  14. They're going to have to leave it all on the floor.
  15. There's really no time to enjoy this with Miami Hamilton right around the corner! 🤪
  16. The Miami Hamilton Harriers come to the JAR to face the Zips next Sunday. The Harriers are 5-5. According to their website "The Hamilton Harrier Men's Basketball team has been one of the best teams in the USCAA for the past two seasons. Winning 42 games and only losing 17 games with an Elite Eight and National Runner-Up finishes in the USCAA National Tournament." The USCAA is "An organization bringing small colleges together not just for athletic competition; more importantly, it is an organization bringing colleges together who have common goals and perspectives in higher education." The entire team appears to be from the southwest Ohio area and the two biggest team's biggest players are 6'6". Their website has very little info about the team and no stats. Get there early. Seats are limited.
  17. Great job of Enrique to hold onto it. Low pass, on the run...
  18. Whew. Almost gave that one away.
  19. Wow. And it should have been an and 1.
  20. To quote Ralphie "FFFFFUUUUDDDDGGGGEEEEEEEE."
  21. Zips sloppy with the ball tonight.
  22. 22 free throws for NKU, 9 for the Zips.
  23. Sloppy damn one handed dog$h!+ passes.
  24. I just yelled an expletive.
  25. Well...this went to hell in a handbasket very quickly. Groce needs to wake them up like he did at the 11 minute mark against Bradley.
