The Zips wrap up their OOC schedule on the 30th with the A10’s St. Bonaventure at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.
The Bonnies (that’s worse than Runnin’ Bulldogs) were predicted to finish third in the A10 and currently stand at 7-3 going into Saturday’s game against Florida Atlantic. 6’3” graduate guard, Cinci transfer, Mika Adams-Woods leads the Bonnies at 15.3 ppg. 6’4” graduate guard Charles Pride leads rebounding at 6.3 rpg. 6’3” guard Darryl Banks (9.1 ppg) was named to the A10 preseason first team while 6’10” forward Chad Venning (13.6 ppg/4.3 rpg) was named to the third team. Their 3 losses have come to Cansius, Florida International and Auburn. Their best win appears to be over Oklahoma State. They appear to be an older, experienced team like the Zips.
This game should be a good barometer of where our Zips stand going into league play.
