I would say that with Sammy and Dawson struggling and Nate out, Tavari may be the guy on the team other than Enrique and Ali to go get a hoop in the clutch.

The Zips stay on the road this Tuesday heading to Ypsilanti to face 9-11/2-6 Eastern Michigan. EMU is coming off of a ten-point home win over Buffalo. Their only other win was over PCCC. All-MAC 6’4” junior guard Tyson Acuff leads the Eagles and the MAC at 21.6 ppg. No other EMU player scores in double digits, with 6’2” sophomore guard Orlando Lovejoy as the second leading scorer at 9.4 ppg. They are 10th on scoring and 7tn is defense in the MAC. They’ve already won more games this season than they won all of last season during the Emoni Bates mess of a season.

The team needs more that 6 points total from Sammy and Dawson. I think Ali was likely pressing because there was so little help from anywhere else. Curse you Brad Bournival.

There always seems to be at least one of these steaming turds in every season. I just didn't feel good about this one going in.
