I realize this is a sports forum, so I guess I am off base, but I see things differently. Let's put $100/mil into the College of Engineering, the College of Polymer Science, the College of Business administration. We need a massive effort at job creation through the U of A. I love the University and I love Akron, but we are in a massive economic decline IMO. First Merit bank gone. Lockheed Martin gone. Omnova Solutions gone. Ashulman bought by European company. Sterling jeweler shedding employees and struggling. Parker Hannifin has closed Akron operations. First Energy about to shed massive numbers of employees. City of Akron officials worried about passing an ordinance to eliminate Columbus day and replace it with Pocahontas day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, These Economic issues feed directly into the U of A. We have declining enrollment. A declining population in general. We need a massive effort including the U of A to create Business’s, Employment and growth in the local Economy. Every time I hear a local official talk about affordable housing I shudder!!! We have nothing but affordable housing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE NEED UNAFFORABLE HOUSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel good about the Team, and the program. I have zero expertise. I am just an Alum and a fan. I yearn for the day we can win an NCAA tournament game! And be in the Saturday night game at the Q consistently. Thanks Guys! Looking forward to next Season!!!

I admit I did turn Frenchy back on for the last few seconds of the game. The radio feed is several seconds ahead of the ESPN feed. I couldn't wait to see if we would win!!!!!

I think you are selling these kids way short. We have a bunch of true freshman, and from what I have seen so far, they have some talent and ability. I am looking at them from what I have seen in the aggregate since the first game, and I like what I see.

There is a Parents & Family event scheduled for Saturday from 4:00-6:00 at the Euro-Gyro. We scheduled this event for post game. I will relay this to the committee chairperson. These time changes are B.S. I don’t understand why they seem to arbitrarily change these game times. My wife is a member of the Parent & Family committee. They put in a lot of effort to help promote the University and bring parents and families on to Campus for various events. Many of the parents have to travel some distance and make plans to attend an event. We have reserved the upstairs at Euro-gyro for a postgame party. We have sent out emails for confirmation, and asked people to respond so we can get a head count. This allows us to pre-order food accordingly. I am frustrated as hell!!!!!

I think we were a little intimidated by Buffalo in the first half. We played much better in the second half. I would put Cotton at the PG and MD at the number 2. I think SC has better passing skills.
