  1. Last week gave me a little more confidence in our big play ability. There was a lot of criticism for continuing to put the ball up, earlier this season, but it will have been worth it if it is solid to finish the season. Miami is capable of explosive play and we need to be able to match teams as we try to take the East.
  2. I believe Brandon Council is a R-Fr. He has had a lot of PT and seems to be improving each week. Also, I always wonder if Sands is really that good or if he is catching defenses off guard because they are not used to him. I tend to believe he is really that good. A back with moves that can help the offensive line makes us better no matter what play we run in that regard.
  3. I have seen plays where Tommy is a blocker and I have to agree with you. I am not sure if they are by design or if Tommy is doing this on his own to pitch in.
  4. If you can't claim luck for losses you can't claim them for wins. If it's the coach's fault when we lose close, it's the coach's credit when we win close. If you cannot claim a moral victory, you can't claim a moral loss when we win but get outgained on offense. We are winning. I have not hear anyone take an overinflated view if the Zips, except thise who thought we could beat Penn St and Iowa State who are the same crowd clamoring for Bowden's head and Woodson's butt in the bench.
  5. Zips less than 6, Sands, 3 TDs. All three games are going to be fights and Miami will be desperate for a win. At tge end of the day a team that knows how to win will be the victor and that's not Miami.
  6. Sands seems to be the key in thay play working. ?
  7. I think there will be a viral meme by morning of Morris' strange movements as he ran down the field after the last TD.
  8. With Gauthney out at Center, Erickson has been playing Center. Unless Gauthney returns, we probably will not see it.
  9. I think we saw Woody throw last week. 21/29 and Bowden said one of the best of Woddy's career. I think we will see more passing but Sands did give us another dimmension. I think keeping up requires us to run to use up the clock. However, their DBs are not terribly tall and Wolfe and Woodson could have a good night, too.
  10. I can't imagine holding out for the dream job is a wise career path. He would need to build success somewhere bigger, first.
  11. That was something that struck me, to, but we have the personnel to do it. But, Olouette (sp?) Is a worthy back who saw few looks last night. They will use him more against us.
  12. Both beatable. Ohio is well coached. This could turn out into a high scoring game. They are going to try to wear down the D with the run against us. It will be a tremendous test of bend but don't break because they lull you to sleep with the run and then go for the big play. Ohio is efficient in the red zone but I think we can score on their secondary. Could be a good night for Wolfe. It will be tough to run against Ohio. Their all star LB is excellent. Miami is not as bad as people think but we can beat them, especially if we can force them to throw on 3rd down. They are on the verge of being unhinged tonight, fighting with the head coach and refs. I think if we throw stunts at them early and get them to lose their composure we could run away with it. If they keep their composure, we will still have a couple of take-aways. I could see a big night for Sands against Miami.
  13. ZN fans would be having a fit if we ran that trick play with a 7-0 lead, lol.
  14. This I agree with, but it was not the original complaint. I don't remember the camera angles being as bad during the last CBS Sports game.
  15. ESPN Can’t Afford Monday Night Football Any More
  16. Very consistent play from him this year, thankfully. Agreed.
  17. This is a great point. They are among the most impartial I have observed.
  18. It might be your cable provider.
  19. This was not an issue when we Chrome-casted it from a browser and I do not recall an issue from the previous game, either.
  20. I didn't notice him back in the game, so that is good news. He has really played well for us.
  21. Speaking of which...anyobe heard what the status of Kyron Brown is?
  22. Fair enough...but the offensive POTW did not go to their big playmaker, Johnson, either. Zips D, collectively, did a great job containing him.
