  1. Shawn Featherstone has made the 2 plays that changed the game for us. Props to this guy coming through for us down the stretch.
  2. Holy crap. Is this a miracle in the making?
  3. The point of the call is to prevent injuries.
  4. He led with his head. They have to call that.
  5. I am not sure why it doesn't qualify as targeting. Is not the punter defenseless?
  6. I like to see us in Rourke's head this early.
  7. 10-7 Zips...
  8. Nice pick!
  9. This is a sobering and fair comment.
  10. Care to explain "no discipline"?
  11. That second down play....we need to see a lot of that type of play.
  12. Yup. Good news: Newman Williams is back.
  13. FYI: Larry Williams is going to be on with Munch in a few.
  14. I tend to agree.
  15. Much just reiterated TB said it would be a game time decision. As badly as I want to know, good for TB for keeping everyone in suspense. Much also pushing people to get out to Infocisiin to watch the game.
  16. I think 5-7 is questionable and 6-6 moves him to the hot seat. I agree that the record is not what you would like to see but it seems rather short sighted to let him go, now, as we have been increasingly improving recruiting classes and next year's class looks legit, especially when we would have likely beat Miami with woods in at the helm. Personally, I felt the air gushing out of the tires last week when I heard about Tommy and then minutes later we lost Sands. I am not getting my hopes up that we will see Tommy and would like to be pleasantly surprised if we do.
  17. I am guessing that is their assumption based on the way it was discussed on TV last week. I am taking it with a grain of salt.
  18. That being said, there has been no announcement and the only word we have is the AD saying he was still suspended, late last week. I felt like Deltron Sands was the last possible surprise weapon we might have left. I can't say I am feeling too optomistic. Ohio is really strong this year and they know the Division title is on the line.
  19. I think Tommy can handle whatever O.U throws at him if his receivers work hard to get open. I think they have improved and it could happen.
  20. 1. I will be as shocked as I was last week if Woods on is out, again. He gets the nod. If for some reason he does not, we are toast. If he is back, and the same chemistry with wide receivers is there that we saw against Buffalo, we can compete, but our D will be exhausted in the 4th. 2. We can compete if we get an early lead. The defense needs to come up with 1-2 picks for us to win. That will not be easy. Ohio probably does not need to throw a single pass to win, sadly. 3. My uncanny game plan: go high temp on offense and rotate players on D. With Sands out, let's stop pretending we can run. It's not like the first string has been able to crap down anyone's run game, so keep them fresh enough to bend but not break in Q4. 4. Since its a home game, if Gassed misses 1 FG, go back to O'Leary as a kicker. 5. It's time to pull out all of the stops. People were upset when we went for it on 4th and ram a pass route. I thought it was a good call, it just did not work. Ultimately, it did not cost us the game or kill momentum. This week, the team has to play with guys and be willing to take risks, including trick plays and going for it on 4th. All this being said, I do not a single game has happened as I anticipated, apart from PSU, ISU, Troy, and Toledo. This game probably will not either.
  21. Eric Pulliam, OL Class of 2020, 6' 5" 305lb Transferred from Dixie State to Fullerton
  22. Makes me want to watch the Jets. Go get em', Jojo!
  23. And an even larger anomaly in the MAC. It's not like Tommy's UA career has been riddled with issues. I think, depending in the issue, you have to be willing to give a guy a second chance.
  24. I actually had a dream about this game last night. We opted to receive the kick off in the first quarter and came out with a super fast offensive tempo and Woody drove us down the field, quickly to give us an early lead. Dream ended after that. I would like to see us take advantage of a 5th year QB and try something like that. He is capable of running a drive like that so let's keep the defense on the field and drive.
