Congratulations to Nate Linhart.........1. For completing his course work this summer and graduating!2. For becoming a professional athlete. Nate has signed a contract to play for the Furstenfeld Panthers. He traveled to Austria this weekend to establish his new apartment. When the season gets started you can follow Nate's team at www.panthers.at (it helps if you speak German). Below is a picture of Nate in his new uniform.Again....congratulations to Nate !

Please take some of your stock portfolio gains from the last 6 months and send a check to Hunter Y for $250K and he will let you sponsor the back of the board. You can participate in the design. When the money shows up the temporary cover will be replaced. A chance to see you name in lights. Stop moaning about a minor temporary situation at a great new stadium.

You may want to be more specific.Sorry, thought they were pretty obvious. Look at the top of the lower deck stands, looks like some large white panels being stood up but only part way down the stands. It doesn't look permamant and doesn't exist on the west side stands. Those are platforms. Assuming ADA seating platforms. But I don't know why they set them up like that.G-M17....you are correct. They are aluminum platforms that replace the top five rows of seating in the lower bowl. They seat supplier must prove that the regular seating can be removed and the temporary ADA seating can be installed as specified in the contract. If you look at cam1 and scan the lower bowl of the west tower you can see where the seat removal is underway to test the west side ADA seating.

They are installing the north endzone auxillary scoreboard above the ground entrance to the endzone building.

It was another exciting week of basketball in NE Ohio. Plenty of star power and controversy (ie: Lebron dunk tape). See link below if you missed the action. This is the best blog I have found on the events at the JAR and Wolstein Center. Nice mention of Dru III and Rome. A really funny note on LJ Jr. Nice to see Craig Ehlo involved again this year.http://www.slamonline.com/online/college-h...g-city-classic/ -
There will be lights behind both stands. The lights on the west side will be on top of the press tower, while the lights on the east will be on light poles.Uakronkid - You are correct except you should have said "The lights are on top of the press tower"". On Wednesday and Thursday about half of the west tower lights were installed.

Anybody have any idea how you actually "win" the tournament if all games are preprogrammed? Is the third game Saturday or the 22nd?I rechecked the schedule and they have made a change. The tournament still opens on Thursday but we play NC State on Friday, Drake on Saturday and Howard on Sunday. I have no idea who is playing on Thursday in the new setup.

I could not attend this year. The University sent a note stating the Outing would be held on the 8th. I made plans to head out to Arizona the following week. Then UA changed the date to the 15th. Bastards.Cap'n - Sorry to hear you missed the football outing. Are you going to attend the Men's Basketball Outing at Silver Lake Country Club on Monday, August 31st?

FB is only one of the three teams that use the Schrank practice field daily. Where do you propose that the women's and men's soccer teams practice?

Saturday 9:00 am.......Grass is growing in the north end zone. Are you ready for some football!

Just what exactly is Tyvek anyway? Insulation panels?DuPont™ Tyvek® commercial air barriers play an integral role in the leading weather protection system by controlling airflow and temperature, holding out bulk water, and allowing interior moisture vapor to escape.

quote name='Blue & Gold' date='Mar 30 2009, 02:39 PM' post='81026']I'm surprised there are not more architectural renderings available than what they have on GoZips.com. Such as what the 3 (or 4?) main entrances are going to look like; the finished locker rooms; the west side and east side concourses; inside a loge; the interior of the team shop; views from the box seats and different sections of the stadium, etc. There have to be more drawings than what are currently available, wouldn't you think?Per Your Request:Southwest Gate with Rubber City McDonalds Sponsorship SignageMain Lobby with Elevators on Right
