Dailey is trying real hard just does not have the talent to finish and then throws it away. I think Groce has to play the guys who brought this team back. Put Trimble and Ali on the bench and play the guys that are producing. Maybe if Ali and Trimble come off the bench they will start shooting better.

Trimble cannot box out and hold his ground so he grabs the Buffalo players arm. Fouls out without scoring a point. I would have kept him and Ali on the bench.

There is my starting lineup. The guys who are out there now. Moving the ball and taking it to the hoop!! Best ball movement all game.

Yes, Wynn, Dawson, Dailey. Trimble and Ali have contributed nothing the last 2 games. Trimble is purely a 3 point threat and is 0 fer this game.

It is funny to hear the announcers indicate they did not expect a Buffalo blowout. Everyone who follows the Zips on this board was expecting exactly what we have seen. This team can play good defense for about 8 minutes and that is about it. We just don't have any shooters right now that can hit the 3 ball. That is supposed to be the strength of this team. When we have to rely on our inside scoring it is tough. Freeman is playing a great game. I thought Reese played well. LCJ is playing hard but cannot find his shot. We only have 4-5 assist because there is little ball movement. I would consider benching Ali and maybe Trimble because they are just not producing.

I think that is Marshall out there getting some time. He played well last time and he looks like he wants to play more than some of the starters. Dailey has played some nice defense. Nothing from Trimble and Ali again. Tough to have offense when your starters are not contributing.

Can anyone remember the last time Ali did anything positive on offense? He just drove the lane, stop and threw the ball away. He looks absolutely lost the last 3 games. Ever since he had a career high, his game has gone south along with the Zips.

Why is LCJ leaving his man alone in the corner for a 3. I have seen that over and over again this season. Stay on your man!!

We cannot buy a 3 point shot. LCJ hit his first and that has been it.

I have the same feeling. However, there is hope. In the 2016-2017 season I felt the same way because the Zips had lost 2 in a row and we never win at Buffalo. We won the game 89-83. That is why we play the games. Go Zips.

No time, been working on the team's defense and shooting. Also trying to get them to drive to the basket instead of settling for the long three ball. (LOL)

This team does not have a player that can continually slash to the basket and beat his man other than LCJ. Dailey, Ali, Tribble, and anyone else on the bench cannot beat their defender and get to the hoop. Further, did anyone notice Reese on the court yesterday. Reese has some nice inside strong moves but we need to get him the ball. Freeman had a nice post move and scored. When we are not hitting from the outside or LCJ cannot score, we have what happened the last 2 games. Further, we cannot stop other teams from penetrating. When the 2 guys who are taking the most shots, Trimble and LCJ are a combined 9 for 33, you are not going to win many games. The only one who has continuously shot the ball well is Freeman. Why, because he is taking high percentage shots. Before the 3 point shot, my basketball coach always stressed that the goal of a B ball offense was to get as many layups as humanly possible. When you drive to the hoop, 3 things can happen, you make a layup, you get fouled or your shot gets block. (the coach didn't believe in missing layups) Anytime you can have a basketball play where 67% of the time you have a good outcome, that is a good play.

This team seems to live and die by the 3. We were horrible from the 3 line and we do not have players that can drive to the hoop with any consistent results. These guys do not come off screens to get open. It is dribble drive and pass off for a three. When your players are not hitting the 3, we are bad. Most importantly, we are not great on defense. Opposing players can drive to the hoop. Freeman had some nice blocks but we need to play better defense. If Swingle can score easy points on our d, we are in trouble.

I agree with the commentators, the Zips are just not playing with any confidence. Without Ali and Trimble shooting well, we are hurting. Trimble used to be our number 2 scorer. Also, nobody has stepped up on the bench. Nothing inside from Reese, and almost nothing from the bench. We are not a great defensive team and when our offense sucks, we suck.

Who else has stepped up on the floor. Ali is 0 for 12 in his last 12 shots from last game, Dailey just missed a fade away, Trimble missed his last 3 3 balls, one was wide open. He is getting no help.

I also believe the effort is there but we need to step it up on defense. Freeman has great hands. That was not an easy pass to handle. Trimble, Ali have been very quiet this game. Need them to step up.

I think the d has been better tonight than in most games. They are playing with intensity. Swingle has been hitting the outside shot while LCJ has struggled with the 3 ball. The difference in the game. Also, Ali has also struggled for the 2nd straight game.

Did anybody on this board think that when Dailey shot that 3 it was going to go in the basket?

What happened to our great foul shooting? LCJ once again struggling to find his shot.

Like to see them work the ball inside to Reese.
