I am watching the nevada game on espn 2 an they were just talking about akron. They said that they were close to being upset by The university of Akron in Akron, and that Akron should have won that game after being up by 8 with just over 2 minutes to go, but they let it slip away. Man i wish we could play them at home right now when we got things rolling and more games under our belt... i think the outcome would be different..

Good teams can overcome bad officiating. jp. i am eatting my words lol. they are starting to overcome the horrible officiating... lets hope they can keep it up.

Im excited to see mcknights brother. I remember on espn 2 against WM when they were talking about the guys we signed an they were talking about chris mcknight saying how he was 1st team all state and one of the top players in ohio coming out of HS, an they said the scary thing is.... their saying his brother is even better? has anyone seen game film of this guy? I know we got a few other good players, such as the # 1 PG in all of ohio. and the # 29 center in the country... so our recruiting is starting to grow too.

sorry, but your wrong i think.... its hard to pull away when you have to play against the refs also.... this is probably the worst officiating i have ever seen or heard in my life.

they just said the refs are from the ovc.

and they (the refs) missed another travel and 35 shot clock and they didnt stop the clock.... wow, where did they find these guys, from under a bridge downtown or somthing?? this is just down right horrible.

32-28 these refs are blowing this game big time. Missed the travel ( guy took 3 steps) and then called an offensive foul on rybak... game shouldnt be as close as these refs are making it.

im with you, play as many games at home as possible since we ( the UA fans) got shafted the last 2 years with weak home schedules.

i was glad to see him come to akron from pitt. i was able to see him play in hs as well and he was a monster. i think the best move he made was moving over to the OL

Im starting to think maybe we shouldnt even worry bout the rankings from scout, rivals, and all these other sites. Guess we should just wait and see how this recruiting class does on the field.

I also met him a few times at various football gatherings and he was a very nice guy. But were our DB's really as good as they could have been? werent we near the top in passing yards against us? I think it may be a good thing that we will be getting a new DB coach with all of the talented DB's we are getting in this recruiting class, maybe the new coach will be able to change our stats from last year.

Its great to see the ohio fans turning their backs on the head coach who just a few years ago was a god, because he got them to the Tourney. But now that they lost at akron, everyone wants him to be gone.......... dont worry you poor ohio fans, not many teams have beat us in the JAR in the last 3 years.

its awsome that bubba has invested in some pro active. as i watch the game on tv cuz the roads are so dang bad..... his faces looks to have cleared up extremely. Its just to bad it didnt make his game look better too lol...... he is pathetic!!!!!! I added this guy to my facebook just so that i could see how pathetic this guy really is.... man am i glad that he isnt at akron anymore, we upgraded to a better player in dials. I wonder if any of the akron players hold a grudge against him for how he slammed akron and the program.

Thanks blue and gold. I was just messing around bout the heisman thing, but i do hope that he has heisman type numbers this year. I was just trying to give us a positive starting point for this coming season after losing basically our whole OL, QB, DL.
