I heard it a few times when they first started an then you would hear the TV go quiet, so i believe that when they realised what was being said they bleeped it out. as for showing of the fans, they did show the fans a few times, but no obsene gestures were shown that i saw.

the game from the Q will be on FSN thursday also.

it was great to see LeBron at the game last night... jumping up and down, cheering for the zips an gettin the Cant fans all rowled up, I Loved it.

I say that the mayor of akron declair it Akron Zip day, like he did Charlie frye's senior year when he declared it "fryeday" he let the city offices close early an then alot of the city employees went to the game that week. Let people know it is city wide zips day....an have us all send them off to the Q pumped up.

I looked up the university of Cant State in the college directory and it said.... Home of the most classless, unsportsmen like fans an players in the MAC, possibly nation but it doesnt matter how classless they were cuz akron walked out of the MACC center with the win ha ha im loving this

come on coaches and AP. Give us some respect.... we dominated Cant at their own place, a place they dont lose very often (37 wins in 39 tries) we dominated them, but we allowed them to get back into it with mistakes, but in the end we did pull it out.... so show us some love!

it wasent a 3.... it was a very long 2, his foot was on the line ha ha but i agree, there were a few plays that i feel dials made that werent very smart. His step back 3 with romeo right under the basket when they had a 3 on 1 situation.... Lob it up to rome an let him dunk it, an change the momentum back to the zips side. Granted he did play alot of minutes last night, but what else can you expect when ur playing for a MAC east title, and the chance to sweep the flushes for the first time inna long time...... but all of this will be for nothing if we dont come ready to play at the Q

All this game did was buy the winner 5 days worth of bragging rights. Akron will not lose to us a 3rd time! I give it up for Omni tonight. He didn't get his first foul until the OT. My only question is, where were all the AK-Rowdys? Oh, I forgot, its Sunday. They were probably all studying. .........the above is somthing that was stated in the flushes message board... but let me point somthing out an see if it only doesnt make sence to me, or if anyone else is confused by the statement..."Akron will not lose to us a 3rd time"! can someone explain what this means to me, in case i am missing the point and if i am, i will only blame it on the fact that im up at 1:11 and im pumped over sweeping the flushes lol.

GREAT SEASON LADY ZIPS! A huge improvement over what we have had in recent years. Next year should be better, because we will have all MAC freshman Sarah Tokodi playin her true position and not having to take over at the PG spot. The transfer from Illinois should help the team out right away. They also did a very nice job recruiting this year signin local product K. Muphy of STV STM. she has been unstoppable the last 2 years. and another plus is that she has been coach by ( and working on her game with) former zips great Joe Jakubic, who led the nation in scoring for the zips as a senior.

yea, but yet if what i was told is true.... they allowed someone to sit in donyell marshall's seat an he had to sit right behind the Cant bench.... where was the super security then lol....

so is this one of the 4 scholorships thatw e have left? hopefully we can use 2 more on some other talented DT's

I dont know what sucks more about Cant State.... their classless fans who were making obsene gestures all game ( flipping the finger, grabbing at crotch, and sayin F**k the roo) or their basketball players who showed no type of class by refuseing to shake the hands of the zips players an just walked off the court into the locker room with their heads down and jersey pulled over their heads...... I think that the University of Cant needs to get a grip on these things, because I do remember very clearly at the football game this past season a chant that their whole student section was saying loud an clear... F**K you akron, and screw the roo.

I seen him on the TV clapping an cheering a few times when Can't did somthing well, i must have missed when he did it for the zips . Heck if i were him and someone was in MY seat, they would be escorted out of my seat ha ha, especially when the Can't Police officer had the nerve to stop LeBron and ask him where his ticket was, an wouldnt allow him to sit down until he did show his ticket lol.

I wasent able to get to the game, but i watched every second on the TV. Was it just me or did alot of the players look more tired then they usually do. I can understand it was a hard faught game and that it was a more uptempo game, but even in the early stages of the game they looked tired. I seen conyers get the ball stolen from him, and he just threw his arms in the air and didnt even attempt to run downcourt to make a defensive play.... maybe that is why he doesnt play much. I was very glad to see linhart back, but had a moment when i had to hold my breath, as he went for a loose ball and it went out of bounds an it showed him on the Tv stop an grab his thumb in pain. then they went to a time out an when they came back he wasent out there on the court..... i am hoping that no more damage was done to it. This showed that we are able to win on the road in a tough enviorment, and we even did it without our floor general for the last 2:27 of regulation and the whole overtime. Lets hope we can keep this MO going in the tourney. Lets make sure we pack the Q and support our zips as they try to make history and break the curse of not being able to win in the tourney! We beat Cant state twice in the season for the first time in i dunno how long, now i will drink to that . and as always....

What was donyell marshall of the cleveland cavs doing behind the Can't bench cheering for the flushes? Does he not realise that his teammate is an akron native and best friends with 3 of the akron players... sorry marshall, we still took it to your flushes
