Does anyone know how much tickets for the Tourney will be? I am thinking about gettin a group of friends to go up an watch, but i couldnt find ticket prices anywhere. any help would be appreciated.......and as always.....

I heard alot about how good bardo was coming out of High Schoool, and i seen him at the last game. He is a big body who might be able to contribute. why isnt he playing this year? he injured?

I seen this kid play and wasent impressed with him. I also have a link to his highlight film if anyone would like to see it. He would be by far the worst QB on the team. and he doesnt have the speed to play FS at the D1 level.

I think that the MAC should have also required them to join with basketball also. Its dumb that they allowed them to for football only, because now that they are in the East...it is screwing everyone else's schedule up. BG had to break a contract with Boise State so they could open up a week for Temple. and that in turn is going to screw the MAC teams because more teams are going to be reluctant to sign them for fear they will break another contract........ But the MAC schools arent the only ones breaking contracts. Look at NC and Indiana. NC was supposed to come to akron for a home and home since akron went there last year.... and Indiana was supposed to come here to play but cry babied their way out of it, so we now have to travel to them..... leaving us with ONLY 4 home games! Hey Mr Rhodes... how bout you get us more home games, so that we can meet that NCAA requirement and not have to be bumped down to division 1AA! and as always....

how tall is this guy now, because i went to his site an it says he is 6'8 but on scout i believe it said he was 6'10 now. I seen the pic of him standing with ron artest of the kings, and he is taller then him.

I called Akron to try to get tickets to the game, but their sold out. I then called Cant State an they said that they have approx. 400 general admission tickets left. So i go to Cant State and when i get to the ticket window the lady asks for my Cant State College ID.... I drove all the way up there with gas at 2.49 a gallon to realise that the lady forgot to mention to me that the remaining tickets they had were being sold to only Cant State students.... what a joke!

IMO, i think at times that the "rowdies" are a joke. they only cheer and attend the games of the teams that are winning. I noticed at the beginning of football season... the student section was full of rowdies, but as the season went on and the weather got colder, an they werent winning like before, the amount of fans dropped big time. same thing for the basketball.they only attend the big games because they want to sit in the lower section. and they only attend the games that the team is winning ( examples being the mens basketball and womens basketball)

I am actually watching wkyc right now an he said that he is going to talk about the battle for 1st in the mac east and he said somthing about all of the emails that he has been getting from akron fans after his telecast yesterday ha ha.

its to bad that with alleman doing so well at the combine that he cant move up to late 2nd round. alot of NFL teams need to get themselves some dominate, down right nasty guards who can open the holes for the Rb or keep their QB safe.. i would trust having alleman watch my blind side.

we cant even win the MAC championship year in and year out. I would like to see us stay in the MAC until we are able to compete year in and year out for the championship. The MAC committee has become a joke. how do u let a team join and then not realise that them joining will mess up everyones schedule. and what happened wth NC State coming here. I heard that last years game with them was a home and home contract, with us playin the first game at nc state and then the next year nc state comes to the bowl..... nc scared?

wkyc is a joke for a television station when it comes to sports. i like watching 19 action news. they always have scores for all the local schools, not just who decided to send in video of the game.

thank you uakron... someone finally gets what im saying bout the "student group" AK Rowdies. The same 6-9 people were at nearly every home game. people say they will start coming when they start winning, but that works both ways...im sure they would start winning more if more fans were there showing that they gave a damn!

an thats the reason that the womens team only averages 500 people a game. we need to start supporting the womens team because what do you think recruits think when they come to a game (such as tonights game, 4 recruits there) why come to akron over the other schools when they cant even get their own fans into the seats? we need to show the recruits that we do care bout our womens teams as well as all of our teams.

i personally have always believed that he would make a solid player in the NFL. I was around him a good amount since i have friends that play for akron U. he has a great work ethic, and bust's his butt to give 100% in everything he does. im glad to see him doing things in thr NFL...... especially since he plays for my all time favorite NFL team

uakronkid. i was there cheering. and i agree with you bout them needing more people to get their asses in the seast an support them. the more fans that they can get... the more they feel like they have to bust butt to win. I was very sad at the turnout for the rowdies also uakronkid. the most that there were today was 9, but lets see how many show up for the mens game tonight... its a pitty that they call themselves a student organization.... but dont show up to support all the teams.
