There is a lot outside of just the players and coaches that has to change before I believe a corner has been turned. The Zips had a really good win last night, but that's short term. If the Zips played as well last night against top tier mac schools, they would be going to a bowl, but Kent has a way of making teams look better than they are.

Here are my thoughts on the game. I'm glad I didn't see a play.

I work with a guy whose brother is an extremely well known defensive coordinator in the NFL. When the Browns were going 1-15, people would say OSU or Alabama could beat the Browns. He asked his brother if that was true. His brother just laughed and told him the Browns would beat OSU and Alabama 77-0 and they would struggle to get more than one first down per drive. I thought of that when I saw your post.

My life experience tells me that no matter how hot it is out, no matter how cold it is outside, it's always 72 degrees on a barstool. Cleveland can do this. Maybe not on the scale of CLT, but it can be done.
