Blue & Gold Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 I'm sure I'm not the only one who watched the Info program on FSN. It was EXCELLENT! Top shelf! Very profesional; very well done! Quote

johnnyzip84 Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 I tuned in at 9:30 expecting to see it. Then I had to wait until the end of the Chardon-West Geauga HS game to finish. I was half expecting the Info program to be postponed, with the way the post-game show was dragging on and on. I have to agree that the 30 minute Info Infomercial was high quality. I hope it generated some more ticket sales. Quote

I programmed my DVR last night since I wasn't home and got the stupid HS game. I set the DVR to record it again tonight at 10 with a hour run over. I ain't missin' tonight. Glad to hear it was done well. I also noticed that it is showing on FSN Cincy. Looks like some people in that area that put some hard work into this thing will get to see it too. Quote
72 Roo Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 It didn't play to the whole state, much to my chagrin. I made a point to fly home from Philadelphia last night in time to pop a cold one and settle in for Info ecstacy at 9:30. What did FSN Ohio send to Columbus? A high school game between Mason and Trotwood-Madison. Talk about being depressed. If anyone can get the program on YouTube, please let us know. I'm going to try again tonight at 10:00 pm but I'm not optimistic that the programmers down here will give the Zips any respect and show it. Quote

I second the vote for someone to put it on Utube. Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 It's 10pm! What are you sitting at the computer for? Get down stairs and turn on FOX sports! Quote

I feel your pain, I left work at a reasonable time last night while traveling to catch the game in Columbus and got screwed by the SAME THING! I don't have cable either....what am I to do.... Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 It ran an hour late (11pm) tonight. I hope they compensate UA for that one.Nice production. Time for bed. Quote
72 Roo Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 There is a God.....and He's a Zip fan. Tonight, as the Captain advised, I settled in at 10:00 pm for the tour of Info. This time in Columbus the Reds vs Dodgers were running late. Then when the game ended they ran a 45 minute post game show. It was now 10:45 and no Info.... more depression. But after the God-awful post game show, the tour of Info came on in its entirety. While it was an informercial, it was still done with class and professionalism. Kudos to the team that put it on. It doesn't take much vision to understand that if we put any reasonable product on the field this facility will be a huge boost to Akron football. We should be winning the MAC every year and placing ourselves in position to take advantage of conference growth when available. It will come.Hope to see many in the nation come Sept 12. It's 11:35 pm and still. Quote
Dr Z Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 I agree with everyone, this was well done, my hats off to the people that made it come together.FSN schedule sux. I'm a Zips fan and it took me two nights of work to find and watch this thing. Good thing it airs a bunch more times. Quote
