Early season OOC schedule will cripple a young team and they will have no confidence going into the mac schedule or the following year for that matter. Our ooc schedule is designed to teach a team how to lose. We will see the results of it next year. 3-9

Your crystal ball is not working correctly.

Plus, no schedule is "designed to teach a team how to lose." Jeez. With dramatic overtures like that, shouldn't you be on Fox News or MSNBC whining about the last huge insult to your party?

Or was that the plot line to the next Major League sequel?

This makes me happy. Maybe it will work for you.

Ken+ & GW are gimmies, the team should be able to win two more home games, and one more road game giving them 5.

I'm basing all of this on the progress of PN7 (seeing him in all of 7 games last year). If Alex Allen stays healthy throughout the year, give us another win somewhere, he is that good, but hasn't proven to be reliable (probably my favorite player on the team). If we turn our defense around, pressure the QB, stop the run and get the ball back to the offense, maybe one more, that's very optimistic, but it's May I'm allowed to be. If our special teams play like last year, take a win away, but I'm expecting iCoach to improve this area.

Corn, I like your link, it made me smile.

6-6

9-4-10 SYRACUSE (W)

9-11-10 GARDNER-WEBB (W)

9-18-10 at Kentucky (L)

9-25-10 at Indiana (L)

10-2-10 NORTHERN ILLINOIS(L)

10-9-10 at Can't State (W)

10-16-10 at Ohio (W)

10-23-10 WESTERN MICHIGAN(L)

10-30-10 at Temple (L)

11-6-10 at Ball State (W)

11-17-10 MIAMI OH (Wed.) (W)

11-26-10 BUFFALO (Fri.) (L)

Syracuse/Indiana are both toss ups. Kentucky will smoke us. Ohio/Buffalo are interchangeable. The rest of my in conference picks I feel confident about.

I don't know how someone could complain about this schedule. This is what we should strive for; bottom rung BCS programs and at least one gimme. Perfect. Can't complain about the MAC slate, either. If this team deserves a bowl appearance, this schedule will give them ample opportunities.

I voted 5-7. There are too many areas of the team that need fixed. Too many intangibles that we hope go our way, but usually don't. Spring ball did nothing more than reenforce that perception. We enter this season with more hope than confidence. Come on coach I, prove you an coach and prove me wrong. I'd celebrate that!

I see two wins on this schedule. We're crap. Coach I is crap until he proves otherwise. The new schemes are crap until they prove otherwise. The "talent" is crap until they prove otherwise.

I vote the same for ZachTheZip. Until you prove otherwise with a good post for once, you're crap too. :moon:

+1 I am tired of the negativity already.

I concur. .500 would seem to be our ceiling during transition/rebuilding, so probably just under that.

I voted for four wins. Gardner Webb and Ball State are sure things. The other two will come from the three games vs. Can't, Miami, and Buffalo. Can't is not a sure thing. They will win at least as many games as us this year and probably one or two more. If the Zips end up with five or six, it will be a very successful first year for Ianello. This team will eventually improve to where they are near or at the top of the east division consistently, but it will take a few years to add recruits and solidify the new schemes on both sides of the ball. My vote to win it all this year is Temple. They have slowly improved year by year under Al Golden. He will be the next coach to leave for bigger and better things (Maybe after the 2010 season). Adding Temple has definitely improved the overall strength of the conference. Now I just wish the would join for basketball too.
