Captain Kangaroo
Week #1 saw the soccer team outscore the football team 5-2. With the football team going up against a 1-AA opponent, and the soccer team playing only one game this weekend, I say the football team pulls it out in Week #2. Football Zips in a blowout: 38-6 (Soccer Zips beat BG 6-0) Week #3 looks to favor the soccer Zips. But we must take this week-by-week. No jumping ahead. tpsjugglerdude
But the soccer team IS playing BG. Last year we scored 6 in the first HALF. then they put the Rowdies in and some guy in a wheelchair to finish the game.
Zipmeister
I believe the football team did poorly enough on their own Capt. No need for you to take a point away from them. "Week #1 saw the soccer team outscore the football team 5-2." I'm OK with deducting a point from the football team for the 4th-and-2 field goal attempt. GIVE THE PEOPLE THEIR $20 WORTH COACH I! Just the fact that we are even talking about our soccer team outscoring our football team really hurts. I sure hope this amounts to nothing more than a one-week joke. If not, only the diehards will be at the Info by mid-season.

It's like the old Henny Youngman line: Patient: "I hurts when I do this." Doctor: "Then don't do that."
Dr Z
I wonder if the offensive line will have any changes on the first team? I didn't pay close enough attention last Saturday, did the team have the same offensive line the whole game, or did they rotate? I'm guessing if the Zips get up by double digits, or down by double digits, we will see some rotation. This group as a whole needs to STEP IT UP!!! One guy on the line can make a difference, I am watching the result of this on my NFL team. Anybody think we will have another RB in the mix this week? I do. I think it's a good possibility (Bowers, although he seemed to get a little dinged on special teams). The Depth Chart vs. Gardner-Webb doesn't offer any information. This looks to be completely unchanged from last week. Would the real depth chart go completely unchanged after a disappointing start? It seems more likely that it just didn't get updated for our purposes.

Spin
I can't wait to see what Spin spits out here. The Zips soccer team will score more often than Cornbread does this season. How's that?

Captain Kangaroo
Not this week, baby! 10-4, woo-hoo! A late Rodgers-to-Russell TD caps the improbable comeback. Porter had to think he had this one in the bag?

Porter had to think he had this one in the bag? The difference, though, was that Porter backed off in the first game. I don't think iCoach did that against UK.
