I can't believe people make fun of Cleveland or Akron - Detroit is a dump and what's with putting the Hockeytown Cafe like 12 blocks from Joe Louis arena, but across from the baseball stadium. Anyone know anywhere else to go -- I thought that placed sucked. Food was microwaved and bad -- not to mentino $5 beer -- they think its NYC.

Aww Man I am taking 12 people to the game and I was told to go to Hockeytown and now you are the 3rd person to say it sucked or it was O.K., I wanna make this a fun trip for my family and friends so I don't have to beg them to come to the game and support AU.

It does suck, but there is no other place to go for a sports type feel.

Akron will be on the sideline opposite of the MACC so the walk will not be as far. Akron will also be wearing white again.

Was at the JAR today and bought my tickets. I had to wait in a line and after I left there was a line behind me. I think everyone infront of me was asking for MCB tickets. Hopefully it continues to be that steady. :macc:

About all I've got is me and my girlfriend. Got signed up for the buses up there today. According to the JAR ticket office there is already about 12 busloads of students signed up to go and more coming in each day.

I've got 7-9 people coming with me. We've got a hotel room and will prob check some casinos, Windsor, and the Detroit Brewing Company, which we didn't have time to find at the MACC game.

Again I thought Ford Field was great. Let's fill that place up!!!!
