Great find!

From the last paragraph: The Lackawanna Conference landed four players on the Big 33 team – Abington Heights tight end Morgan Craig, Delaware Valley offensive lineman Brandon Clemons, Dunmore offensive lineman Paul Gaughan and Riverside running back Nick Rossi.

Gaughan has verbally committed to Boston College and Rossi has done the same with Akron.

Hopefully Nick can convince him to don the beautiful blue & gold as opposed to the fugly brown & orange. Come enjoy the Info, Julian!

Btw, the scout profile lists Campenni @ 6-0, 260 but the article lists him at a more formidable 6-1, 285.

I'm sure some would look at this as "poaching", but I hope the staff doesn't rule out anybody from here until Groundhog-Day-groundhog-day-709545_120_120.jpg:thumb:

I'm starting to get excited about this recruiting class.

I am getting a little excited too, blue&gold. Despite how the resident know it all naysayers blather on, this class is looking pretty good to me. Guess I am a "glass is half full" kinda guy. Go zips go.

I like his reasoning for choosing Akron. He looked beyond the coaching staff and chose where he would be happiest based on the university as a whole. He's smart to realize that the coaches/assistants might not be there by the time he graduates, for better or worse. That is true for any school that's recruiting a player, but most recruits don't seem to show that level of wisdom, instead falling for the hype.

Congratulations to the coaching staff for getting us some help on the D line. I have been skeptical of our coaching staff this year. But I will admit that they appear to be finding some talent to help us. Of course, we all need to reserve judgement for another two years to see if they can play at the level we need. Yet hope is an important quality to have in any program. After having it ripped from us with a 1-11 season, it is back when you look at our recruiting and that is very welcome. To Julian ... welcome to the Zips. It's never too early to learn :screwks: and we will be :champs: .
