Like I said -- he WAS the WR Coach for the award's namesake

I had forgotten that he was the WR coach at FSU before going to WVU as the OC and then the HC. Little known fact -- y'all saw "We Are Marshall", I'm sure.. The scene where Jack Lengyel and Red Dawson go to WVU to ask to watch their film - and Coach Bowden gives them "carte blanche" to the film room, etc.. (very touching scene).. What most people don't know - is that Red Dawson played TE at FSU while Coach Bowden was there..

At this rate, we might need a Bobby Bowden folder for NZF. Bobby Bowden doesn't do push ups he pushes the world down :D

Back to the topic. Will Marquelo get an invite to the combine this year being on the watch list? Hixon was on the list too, and didn't get an invite after being eighth in the nation in receiving yards and seventh in all-purpose yards his senior year.

That's a pretty big watch list!?!?

Yes, The answer is definitely Brookhart.

He coached Antonio Bryant and Larry Fitzgerald at Pitt.

And lets not forget the move of Hixon from CB to WR under JD, which catapulted his NFL career.

Or Jabari Artur to TE/WR...he played in the CFL for many years.

Say what you want about Brookhart...he brought in, and developed WR's at a high level.

I love Bowden, but his next above-average D-1 WR will be his first.
