We play better when we play good competition...think Tennessee last season. We aren't going to get better as a progrum playing EMU and UB. No cupcakes, we see enough of that on the basketball schedule. Quote

I don't even want to make any predictions on the 2013 record at this point, but so much for being too hopeful about ANY of the matchups. Quote

So remainder of the schedule is Home: James Madison; UL-Lafayette Away: Michigan; Central Florida So a solid FCS opponent and 3 bowl teams. In fact we only have two teams that didn't make a bowl on our schedule. Quote

If the program can't compete against the best MAC teams,get out. If it's whining to expect a relatively fair shake from your conference, I'm guilty as charged. I suppose it doesn't really make much difference, since substantial improvement is needed to get the program winning regardless of the schedule. Go Zips! Quote

I think this is a pretty obvious though, right? But you think a win over emu or ub is really going to wow a potential recruit? On top of whatever minor benefit beating some of the worst teams in D1, I care more about my entertainment value. I want to beat teams that we are not expected to beat. I suppose you could argue player confidence... Quote
