1 hour til the Madness begins...Other than the Zips, I'm really cheering for Valpo, they have to have the coolest name in the tourney. Good luck on your brackets-

This was one difficult bracket to fill out. I dont have much confidence in the top seeds and there are a lot of potential upsets out there. I went slightly more chalk than I was intending to go, but thats how the matchups fell.

And yes, I have the Zips going to the Sweet 16. Might as well make them my cinderella, right?

psh! I had them taking the whole damn tamale.

Of course, I made more than one bracket up, but I put money on all of them. I back up my picks. lol

Other teams that I extended a notable distance past their chalk lines, are St.Louis and Cal.

I had Wisconsin getting past Kansas State and Colorado beating Illinois.

Those are in my risk bracket.

But I figure if Akron is going to beat VCU and Michigan, might as well have them getting glory against Kansas and Indiana.

9 Missouri over 8 Colorado St. (not much of an upset but going by seeding)

10 Cinci over 7 Creighton

West

11 Belmont over 6 Arizona (thought about this one a lot)

10 Iowa St over 7 Notre Dame

South

12 Akron over 5 VCU (Gotta include it)

10 Oklahoma over 7 San Diego St. (watch out if you're a 7 seed, lol )

St. Mary's just played one heck of a game to lose in the final seconds. Memphis squeaks out of a physical game.

I missed my 14 see Davidson's upset over 3 seed Marquette by 1 point.

Davidson had the game where they wanted it but Marquette finished on a 13-5 run to win by 1. d'oh!

Im a huge fan. Not saying he is great, but he did carry Ole Miss to the win today. I mainly love his personality/passion.

Georgetown has always been prone to upsets since JT3 took over. Aside from their Final Four run, they've had very little success in the tournament.

I'm neither a fan nor a detractor, but if I had time to concern myself with a guy we won't hear from again after next year, it would be the buying pot with counterfeit money. I have this vision of him printing the money on Mississippi's best dot matrix printer.
