Interesting. We were "experimenting" with guard combinations back then too. We were starting Abreu and playing McNees at the off-guard, and bringing Darryl Roberts off the bench. It didn't last long. Thank God. We ended up winning a title by putting Steve back to the point, and starting Darryl again.

Maybe a similar outcome will eventually come out of this situation also.

I see they have a couple of kids from Toledo on their roster and one from Akron. That caught me a little by suprise.

Very disappointed in the lack of stats you provided.

I also checked out their web site and came up with three notable stats: 11, 3 and 1&1.

11 - They only have an eleven man roster. We should be able to run them out of gas.

3 - These guys are Road Warriors; only 3 of their first 12 games have been played at home.

1&1 - Looking at the players photos it becomes apparent that they must be a close-knit group because they only had one white shirt and one tie that they all shared on photo day.

While not a statistic, I found it interesting that Malik Jackson won the on-campus "Sherman Hemsley Look-alike Contest" held last May.

Zips aren't blowing them out, but they aren't getting embarrassed by any means. It usually takes more than 7 minutes to blow a team out.

Yeah, I sure wish the Zips would come out in the first half with a little more energy. They might be up by 50 at the half instead of just leading by 31.
