Florida CB Ronnie Hoggins is a soft commit.

Interesting. He's rated as a 3-star across the board, but all the recruiting outlets have him leaning in different directions.

"Soft commit" is saying that we're his leader, until he decides that we're not. Good news is, we've been in the lead since early August now.

Finishing the season on a strong note is extremely important in picking up these kind of recruits. Bowden needs to show the proof that this is a place on the rise.

No mention of Akron in the most recent scout.com news (August) .................. Guess that is pretty "soft"

Please find out exactly why he's permanently ineligible and do a detailed risk assessment.

Haven't taken much time to read up on it, but I believe it is substance abuse. Things seem to be a lot more transparent with bigger programs.
