Captain Kangaroo Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 ECU gives UCF the game. If you didn't see the final 2 minutes, you should. Wow... 1 Quote
Dave in Green Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 So you're defining "choke" as ECU having a first down on the UCF 15-yard-line with a 4-point lead and 1:47 left in the game, losing 20 yards on 4 running plays to the UCF 35-yard-line, turning the ball over to UCF with 10 seconds left and giving up a 14-yard first down pass followed by a game-winning 51-yard TD pass as the game clock ran out?Good call. Hilltopper Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 I don't know, it's going to take a lot to beat this one. Quote
Dr Z Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 ECU gives UCF the game. If you didn't see the final 2 minutes, you should. Wow...Here are the highlights. I always thought the general defensive philosophy of "knock it down" on the hail mary pass was inaccurate. Disturb the flightpath of the ball. I don't care how you do it. If the ball is in front of you, great, send it to the ground, but if it's over your head and the receiver is behind you, it's just not smart to try to "knock it down". I blame ESPN talking heads. zippy5 Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 Holy crap I fell asleep when ECU got the ball back with about 1:40 left. Wow. Quote
