Dr Z Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 I am floored by the rose colored glasses and the people that think this program is close to a Butler or a Gonzaga... hey, maybe get to the NCAA most years and WIN a game... or 17....or don't get blitzed.ZN used to have more objective basketball posters, but they wore out years ago. NCAA? I would settle for a run in the NIT. Way too early to predict, but I like this teams chances from what I see. We are finally playing some team ball that I think has a chance for success in the NIT. Anything can happen, but I'm tired of the Zips getting a low seed and getting waxed in the NCAA, I'm rooting for MSG now a days. Think smaller™. Quote
morris buttermaker Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 Shouldn't you be out making sure Kelly Leak is staying out of trouble? I think you are (somewhat) dazed and confused Quote

Sportsjunkie330 Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 I think you need the tough ooc schedule...unlike Miami, you will get your wins in the MAC.I do give the Zips credit for the SC win.. that is a nice win---- but when that is your "win" its not enough. As far as scheduling, the truly good schools--- the ones that I think the Zips should seek out, rarely are down ( falling into 40-100 in RPI). So you can schedule those road games... your easier away games should be in showcases IMOMorris, now the SC win goes in the tubes after tonight. Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted December 22, 2014 Author Report Posted December 22, 2014 Maybe we need a new topic: " Shameful MAC OOC Losses"?Ferris State 82, Bowling Green 68: Drew Lehman scored 29 points and the Division II Bulldogs ran away from the host Falcons. Quote
The Hip Zip Posted December 29, 2014 Report Posted December 29, 2014 Not a win but thought that Buffalo looked pretty damn good ,by MAC standards, at Wisconsin last night. They have a nice mix of a couple of tough guys in the paint and some speed in the backcourt. They actually led at the half, holding Wisc to just 26 pts. The Bulls will be a handful for sure. In fact, Eastern and Toledo will be as well. We might just be the 4th or 5th best in our conference this season. Lets join conf USA..... Quote

I wouldn't be shocked at all if those teams were better than us this season. Quote
