zipsoutsider
You, my friend, nailed it right on the head.Ollison broke one for 71. We can't allow that. After watching us contain Perine, I think we can probably contain their run game as long as our offense can show up to help.

ZachTheZip
George Thomas just tweeted that 20k tickets have already been sold for the game. Add in students (who always show up in force for the first game, if none of the others) and this crowd will be huge.

It's not exactly a "must win", but it would be huge for the program.

It's not exactly a "must win", but it would be huge for the program.I was about to say the exact same thing. I'm brining a couple of my alumni friends whom have't been to a game since we went to the 2010 Syracuse game together. They've mentioned that if all of my hype for the 2015 Zips is correct, and the Zips look decent they'll come with me to another game. With all the new students coming to this game, we ABSOLUTELY MUST WIN THIS GAME!

skip-zip
Balsy...I caught the same thing. The word "Distributed". That means about 12k have been "sold". That's a bit less than I expected, but there's still one day to go.
zipsoutsider
George Thomas is a jerk. I know you read here, George, and I don't care. You are a jerk. Mocking of the program begins about 44:50. It's not so much the content, it's the tone. Something was cut out. I would love to hear that was. And of course, George went to that other school in Ohio. Time to let the ABJ know we have had it with George. He comes in around 40 min into the audio.http://files.triblive.com/podcasts/sportstalk/521PITT15.mp3
Dave in Green
Looking at the hourly weather forecast, it's now predicting that the chance of rain will greatly diminish between 5 and 6 p.m. Saturday. Since weather forecasts are correct about half of the time, we may or may not be sitting in the rain tomorrow.
skip-zip
zipsoutsider.....I realize he went to OSWho, and doesn't hide it. But how does that appear when he's the ABJ's chosen representative to report about the Zips? Underhanded "mocking" should not be tolerated. Steve French went to school at OU. But you would never know it. Whether his comments are positive or negative, you don't get a condescending tone.

Since weather forecasts are correct about half of the time, we may or may not be sitting in the rain tomorrow. Hourly forecast seems somewhat consistent on the "showers". Hopefully it will be like yesterday evening's "showers" where I cut my grass for two hours and hardly got wet.
