Captain Kangaroo
Can the Zips offense figure out how to score 17+ points? If so, we will win.
ZippyRulz
Never forget: It would be nice to have a fullback that could do that regularly.

Dr Z
ESPN3 will televise the game online with Jeff McCarragher (play-by-play) and Jeff Baldinger (analyst) calling the action. Edited November 11, 2015 by Dr Z

LZIp
Since you mentioned it, which parts don't you agree with? I think it is pretty fair coming from an outside observer. While I don't consider us a top team in the MAC, we sure aren't a "cellar dweller." I also do not think our program is heading in a different direction than Miami's. He insinuated theirs was improving and ours was getting worse. LZIp
We haven't finished in the top half of our own division in a decade. That is the definition of a cellar dweller.I dont care about the past decade. We are competing for bowl eligibility and will most likely finish .500 at worst. we finished dead center of the division last year(and had an away win over a P5 bowl team) and will finish, at worst, in the same position again. That isnt the definition of a cellar dweller. Edited November 13, 2015 by LZip

That isnt the definition of a cellar dweller. We were in the same position for the last 2 years and choked. Until we actually win the next few games we are what our past says we are and that is a bottom dweller.

akronzips71
Our defense is ranked 27th in the nation? We should be a whole lot better than this record. But it probably means there will be a few Zips in the NFL next year. Our OOC schedule was loaded with pretty run heavy teams. Makes it all the better, IMO.

LoyalZIP
Gameday post from Hustle Belt A win over Miami would put the Zips at five wins, which was the total for both 2013 and 2014. It would also give the Zips a 4-2 road record--their best since joining Division 1A.wow
Dr Z
EA of the PD - Akron Looking to Reach .500Saturday's matchup will be a look at two young quarterbacks in Akron sophomore Tommy Woodson and Miami true freshman Billy Bahl. Both QBs became starters during the season and are coming off victories, as Akron defeated UMass last week and Miami took down Eastern Michigan. Both are also best described as being on the hefty side of the ledger. The 6-4, 248-pound Bahl has passed for 1,050 yards, 5 TD and 11 interceptions this season. However, the last three weeks he has passed for 543 yards, 3 TD and 1 INT.
