Congrats to Clayton - well run race. Wow the Zips have a World Cup paticipant and an Olympic medalist. :-) Annoyed they never mentioned Akron but they sure love taking about the pig farm. Oy

Congrats, Clayton! Another personal best for him in the final. It will be interesting to see what he does going forward. Hopefully he will come to a CM bobblehead Zips football game this fall to be honored

He keeps getting faster, shattered his personal-best twice just during these Olympics, and he's only 21 years old.  I'm thinking he has the potential to reach the World Record time, and probably has another Olympics in him too.   In addition, he might even go back to his 1500 specialty, and run both of them together.

Apparently he is going to stay in Akron this fall/winter/spring to complete his senior year of classes and get his degree.
