Looks like Ivey tried to play, but couldn't.

Ivey is just fine. He has played a bunch. AF is a very disciplined team. They are working the back door to perfection. We are getting open looks from 3 but aren't hitting them. I am in Savannah.

I like how we dominated after being down 10 near halftime.  Took total control of the game.

Now....I get to look forward to "seeing" my Zips in a D-1 NCAA Basketball Tournament Championship Game tomorrow.......with Radio Only.

Will this be a good win down the road? AFA isn't projected to finish very high in the MWC, but the MWC is a pretty good conference overall.

I hope so.  I'm just more concerned right now about getting the taste out of my mouth about this tournament, in general, by winning it tonight.

The one luxury of the format of this tournament is that Mercer and Akron just played two common opponents.

Mercer beat Georgia Southern by 13, and Radford by 11.

Akron beat Georgia Southern by 11, but blew Radford out of the gym.

Whether either Mercer of Air Force would be a quality win down the road is yet to be seen.  But, lets at least make sure they are WINS.

Air Force could perhaps make some noise if they played in a lesser conference, but I can't see them contend in the MWC. When it's all said and done I'm going to guess beating them would be comparable to beating an upper-middle tier MAC school.
