Zips Quiz MAC tournament EMU vs Akron Quarterfinal

Generally been the most fun time of the year for Zips fans recently having made at least the semifinals for the last ten years. Does the streak continue this year? Noon at the Q.

That may be so but with all that talent they're still the eight seed. I think it might be mental toughness with this group.

 

And without looking down the road too far should the Zips win this tournament they will have the all time winningest Zips basketball season.

Elton has a firm grasp of the obvious.  Seriously, which of the other final 7 teams wouldn't be dangerous for us?  All teams are on high alert.

The Zips are the Zips most dangerous team. If they play to their potential, nobody in the MAC beats them.

He was 5-5 from 3-point land the last time we played EMU, and scored 19 points in 15 minutes. I would be happy with more of the same.

I would be happy with a 23 point win and a couple of brutal, tense games in the evening session.  Oh and a double OT between BS and WM.  Dare to dream.

Everyone wins and nobody does :-). The only three people who guessed the combo of Noah (2) and Josh (3) to lead in combined three pointers (Kwan/Ivey 2/0 and Antino/Utomi 1/0) also guessed that Kwan was going to lead in the points/rebounds combo. Big Dog won that one by a long shot (double double of 24 and 10 to Kwan's 8 and 4) so I'm going to give the win to the memory of GoZips.
