I think Akron is going to make a game of it. Buffalo big win last week. Akron first win last week. 

 

Not calling my with with a victory. But I sense a competitive game.

Buffalo is pretty good up front and physical. But they let them hold like hell.

I don't know if college players are allowed to face guard, but I otherwise thought that was pretty dang good coverage by Watts.

Just couldn't quite get off the field. Buffalo had to earn that drive.

i thought the Zips had a good defensive series there.  sucks.

proud of the D on that drive.  I do not think they scored before the knee was down.

I thought it was good D too. He might have gotten there a tiny bit early but not by much. 
 

Buffalo is good enough without getting help from stripes. 
 

Good news though. Game is almost half way through the first and only down 7. Shorten the game and keep it close.

Once again we set the standard for poor special teams play.  It's been our most consistent quality all year

The Zips made it to all 6 games.  That's impressive and showed some discipline.  Miami and Ohio got only 3 games in.

Basketball team seems pretty good.

Lot of different players getting reps today (to our detriment, IMO)...we may have also lost Matthison and Qualls thus far based on whose been out there the past couple of possessions (mostly Stewart and Naim).

Our pass plays take too long to develop. Are our receivers slow? We never just throw it deep down the sideline.

I don't like coach doing this. He's clearly trying to get players experience. Is the experience worth the embarrassment?
