Let's hope that Brian Kelly gets Freshman All MAC QB Dan LeFevour to transfer to Cincy with him. I don't want to see him for the next 3 seasons. Watching him this year was more than I needed.

plus side...we only play cross over teams every other year...and we played em this year. So that means only one more matchup, barring those future epic mac championship matchups.

I like him a lot. I hope he stays, which I think he will.Make the MAC as strong as possible. I love to see the "MAC daddy" stats on Sunday.

While it's hard to argue that he looked terrific this year as a redshirt freshmen QB, I'm curious to see how he will do outside of the "Kelly system".

I agree Captain. Getsy would not have lost his starting job this year. But thinking about having a guy like LeFevour as a starter for the next three years seemed close to a reality.I'm hearing that Hakes is the guy the coaches are expecting to be the next starter. Is anyone else hearing anything?

This spring will be interesting to say the least. We are going to have an epic QB battle on our hands, plus we have to replace the O-line. With the calibur of recruits we are getting, next fall will be exciting.

Let's not ghet too excited about the QB position until we see a major fix on our very poor offensive line. My prediction is that next year we continue to struggle there as JD did not prepare replacements during the course of this season. The game is won on the lines. We have a long, long season in front of us.

72 Roo is right. We really haven't prepared the O-line for the future by getting them PT this year. BUT I think the fact that our QB's that are gonna be battling are all more mobile than Luke. So I'm definitely very excited to see how this goes next fall. I still feel like we will struggle but we're working towards what this young team will look like in two years, when we have a young but experienced QB and the most talented skill position players in the MAC. As well our line should be young talented and have a couple years under their belt.I'm very excited to see how everything comes together this spring, it should be a good indication of how the season is going to go this fall.
