Game 11 - Xavier Musketeers

Recommended Posts

The 4-3-3 (2-0) Zips will take on the 4-2-4 (1-0-1) Musketeers of Xavier at 7pm. Xavier is coming off a 0-0 draw at DePaul last Saturday.

This is a great opportunity to take first place in the Midwest division as Marquette is playing at Seton Hall tonight

Tailgate starting at 5pm, great weather, homecoming weekend. Hopefully we can get a crowd this team is starting to deserve

Akron (4-3-3) vs. Xavier (4-2-4) - Friday, October 4th, 7 PM Eastern, FloSports

Two teams plagued by inconsistencies, both Akron and Xavier have enjoyed wins against nationally ranked opponents, only to lose the next game to a much weaker opponent. Regardless, both are enjoying a minor unbeaten run and meet for a match that will shake up the Big East standings.

To win titles, this is what you must do..

occasionally.  But you must play consistently good football, something that's difficult for this team. 😒

it happens when you say that the blue chip players that used to go to college don’t, but you don’t change your coaching approach. Incredible lack of subs. Players tire and don’t play consistently.

Very happy for this win but having only 13 maybe 14 players get game action doesn’t seem to be setting up for a long post season run.

Where are Guardeiro, Barboto, Dobrijevic, Buebendorf, ….?

Happy to see Jack Roman getting significant minutes he deserves. Glad to see Nicolas Beier.

Zips looked VERY tired at the hour mark.

Ydrach is a tough mudder. Very impressed.

Got no problem with Ydratch.  He is as tough and smart as they come.  Is he perfect? No.  But he gives consistent, maximum effort - always.  Love that guy!

Zips on top on the entire Big East and it isn't because they've played a weak schedule. Defeated both division champions from last year.

There is still very much to do.
