Regarding players with accumulated yellow cards (4?).  Is Mitch Budler one of those players?  I've seen a reference on social media that Brett Kaminski will play.  Not sure of accuracy

Eight minutes to go - UConn has yet to get a shot in goal. Of course the Zips have only one. Defense has been carrying the Zips during the conference season.

Zips with the lone SOG.

Good result in a tough place. Some Zips may not have played as aggressively as usual. YC accumulation rises to 8 for post season. No worries.

Looking forward to the home BE Tourney game on Nov 9th.

GO ZIPS!!!

No. I believe you misinterpreted that social media post.

DePaul sneaks through as the eight seed. Hope I don't regret my wish. 😊

How far away do you live from Big East semifinals site?   Akron vs. Georgetown would be a good game to watch in person .   Of course, both teams need to get wins at home on Nov. 9th.

I'll be there - whether Georgetown makes it or not. 🤣

I would like to recognize and celebrate Malik Henry today.

Josh Hardin was one of the players sitting on 4 yellows.

For the majority of the 2nd half, Josh came out of the game.

Malik moved from right winger to right back...with Maximus Barboto and Jack Roman getting most of the time at right winger

I thought that Malik was outstanding in the 2nd half at right back.

Malik would probably get more all league and all region recognition if he played all of his time at right winger.

Malik probably does not get the recognition that he deserves because he splits his time between right winger and right back.

This Akron fan.....greatly appreciates Malik being a true unselfish team player....and doing what is best to help the soccer zips win.

Thank you much, Malik.

And still only one loss in two years of regular season conference play. Man where would the Zips be if they hadn't choked those two away against Temple and IU-Indy? But that's ok, maybe make some folks underestimate them.
