Seems like a weird place to fake a field goal.  Buffalo has this in the bag if they just wait for the Zips to self-destruct.

That's not the first time Finley got a grounding call for being on a different planet than his receiver.

 

And then next play not the first time Finley threw a nice spiral to a wide open safety.

Was the genius expecting Buffalo to just let the clock run on that third and 6 with three time outs?

Defense did its job again, though.  Akron gets the ball back with plenty of time to throw a pick six

Each week we are so bad.  All we had to do was hand the ball off and not fumble.  Could not even do that.

Akron's defense can only hold up so long.  And let's see if Akron can add to its 82 yards on offense in the second half (not counting the -23 on the failed punt).

There’s no excuse for Buffalo to have gotten the ball back there. Just a complete blunder of events.

It's been time for many weeks.  But apparently Roggow looked at Joe sideways the wrong way once in the spring.

It's amazing that Moorhead has done so poorly recruiting that Ben Finley is incapable of losing this job as the obvious only playable choice.

Finley handled the blitz and the receiver made a great play on the ball.  Could the Capt be right and this is the game we finish on the road?

Apparently when they can script a little, the offense is competent.  Can they keep it up now that we have a new ballgame?
