kreed5120 Posted March 24 Report Posted March 24 What's most interesting is that EMU and Sac State will be playing week 0. I imagine that was the only way the schedule makers could probably make things work given their late add. 1 Quote

The MAC has some work to do on the next TV deal, because the dollars they're getting for this midweek stuff can only barely offset the losses from this kind of schedule. Quote

The work the AD's office did to get 8000ish there for the midweek Kent game gives me hope that...despite this awful schedule...those numbrs will improve this year. Edited March 25 by exit322 1 Quote

I think you're more optimistic than me on how many fans would show up on a cold, rainy Saturday in November to watch a 3-6 Zips team. Quote
GP1 Posted March 24 Report Posted March 24 Help me out here. Are the last two games optional to be on a week night or Saturday? Quote

GP1 Posted March 24 Report Posted March 24 2 hours ago, exit322 said: No. They're both Tuesday. Actually, the last game is on Friday. I think the day after Thanksgiving can be a good opportunity for fans who have the day off and need to get out of the house after a busy Thanksgiving. If I lived in NE Ohio, I think an early afternoon start could lend itself to a potentially nice day outside and maybe eating a nice dinner out after being in all day the day before. Everything I just posted makes sense, which makes me think the MAC will schedule the game when it is most likely rain during the fall, in the evening, so I predict the game will start at 8 PM. Quote

I was responding to the two midweek games being both Tuesday, sorry for the confusion. Traditionally the MAC Black Friday games have been noon or mid-day kickoffs, so hopefully that continues. 1 Quote
