UAZipster0305 Posted yesterday at 02:48 PM Report Posted yesterday at 02:48 PM I think this is going to be a much more challenging match than it appears on "paper". I will be happy with any win, regardless of how ugly. Sometimes winning ugly shows character; this is one of those games. 1 Quote

csims0917 Posted yesterday at 06:23 PM Report Posted yesterday at 06:23 PM It's getting late early for Akron Soccer in the Big East. Need every win we can down the stretch. 1 Quote

Plus, Creighton and Xavier play each other tonight and Creighton plays Georgetown (next week, I think). But we have to take care of business to get it done. Looks like the MLB is going to try and force the Guards ALCS Game 4 tonight at 8. Watch Akron soccer for the first half, set up dual screens at half time, watch both from that point on. Then again, I have no idea what window of opportunity the MLB is seeing tonight so we may just being able to give sole focus to Zips soccer all evening. Quote
Zips1991 Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Looks like there's a chance the Zips match could be affected by storms also. Not sure why they couldn't move it up a couple hours. Georgetown did with their match tonight. They started at 5 pm instead of 7 pm. Quote

This is the first time I've seen Providence's field. Not a fan of artificial turf fields for soccer. The fields in the Big East in general have not impressed me. There was definitely a field upgrade when Akron joined the Big East. Quote
